Anti-Pakistan Campaign Intensifies

Recently, suspicious packages found on US-bound planes in Britain and Dubai, which sparked a world-wide debate into what President Barack Obama referred to as “a credible terrorist threat.” Packages posed security threats in Chicago, Newark, and Philadelphia.

According to latest news, some parcel-bombs were also detected in some other European countires, while three of them were exploded in Greek.

However, Obama also remarked that the parcels were bound for “two places of Jewish worship in Chicago…authorities on three continents thwarted multiple terrorist attacks aimed at the United States from Yemen, seizing two explosive packages…packed aboard cargo jets.” Other American officials revealed that the plot triggered worldwide fears that al-Qaida was launching a major new terror campaign

US security experts say that the mail bombs could very easily have ended up on passenger planes, which carry more than half of the international Air cargo coming into the U.S.

The Yemeni government issued a statement, imploring the west “not to rush to judgments in such a sensitive issue that is unfolding before the results of investigations, showing the truth.”

Question arises as to why this foiled terror-incident took place. In this regard, the real story is that with the help of Indian secret agency RAW, Jews are importing bombs and explosives material from Yemen. But this new conspiracy has been made as before some days, Obama is going to visit India. In this connection, the main aim of such a plot is to distort the image of the Muslims—especially Pakistan in one way or the other, which is the main target of Indo-Israeli conspirators.

As regards the failed Times Square bombing, notably, on May 11, this year, while talking on the CBS channel, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had warned that Pakistan would face “severe consequences” if a future terrorist attack on US soil was traced back to Pakistan. While on May 13, Hillary Clinton indicated, “There is more that Pakistan must do to face what is now a common enemy.”

Nevertheless, it was owing to threatening tone of Ms. Clinton and propaganda of American counter-terrorism experts, linking the failed Times Square attempt with Pakistani tribal areas that on May 10, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi had said that the incident had damaged Pak-US relations to some extent.

The fact of the matter is that the main aim of the planted Times Square plot was to pressurize Islamabad in connection with the coming round of the Pak-US strategic dialogue—unilateral strike on Pakistan and to further tarnish the image of Pakistan. In this respect, on May 29, 2010, while quoting the US officials, under the caption, “Options studied for a possible Pakistan strike”, The Washington Post disclosed: “The US military is reviewing options for a unilateral strike in Pakistan in the event that a successful attack on American soil is traced to the country’s tribal areas…ties between the alleged Times Square bomber, Faisal Shahzad, and elements of the Pakistani Taliban have sharpened the Obama administration’s need for retaliatory options.” The Post further explained: “The US options for potential retaliatory action rely mainly on air and missile strikes, but could also employ small teams of US Special Operations troops already positioned along the border with Afghanistan.”

However, the pressure on Pakistan and the self-created foiled-terror attempts are interlinked. Washington wants Islamabad to do more, and to take military action against the Haqqani group in North Waziristan. While Islamabad has already made it clear that army is engaged in other tribal areas and flood-affected regions, so it cannot attack the militants of North Waziristan.

In this connection rejecting US duress, Pakistan’s army chief Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani has said that a decision about military action in North Waziristan will not be made on external dictation.

It is mentionable that Pakistan is the only nuclear country in the Islamic world. Therefore, India and Israel with the tactical support of America are creating instability in the country. In this regard, Indo-Israeli lobbies are working in the US and other western countries in order to malign Islamabad. With the help of particularly American media, these lobbies are propagating that the next terror-plan to attack the US homeland will be prepared in Pakistan.

American sources suggested that Muslims were involved in the tragic incident of the 9/11. All the pilots who crashed planes at the Pentagon and the World Trade Centre were Arabs. According to American research institutes, few Arabic youth took regular flying lessons after undergoing terrorists training. They were trained within America, and American security agencies were ignorant of it? Most of these pilots were from Saudi Arabia and the rest from Egypt.

Then why did America attack Afghanistan and Iraq, while no Afghans and Iraqis participated in the terrorist events of the 9/11. Without any evidence, some American intellectuals blamed Osama Bin Laden, hiding in Afghanistan to provide financial backing to the terrorists. That accusation was rejected by Osama. But the US particularly invaded Afghanistan aggressively and destroyed the whole country. At that time, even the American media was astonished and said that without evidence—blaming Muslims for terrorism was a lie.

And now events in the eight years since the September 11 tragedy have proved that this terrorist incident was part of the strategic game to control the routes to the Central Asian states and their mineral wealth.

Although the regime of the Taliban was removed, yet they regrouped themselves, and started guerrilla warfare against the US-led NATO forces. In order to justify support for its aggressiveness, Washington started using terminology like Islamic extremism and ‘Talibanisation.’ The real purpose behind this attack was not to arrest Osama or to remove the Taliban government, but to use them as scapegoat to fulfill a number of designs in relation to the strategic game. Actually the real purpose was to occupy the mineral resources of Central Asian states and control the routes for transporting it to the world.

In this context, besides, Pakistan’s province, Balochistan where China has invested billion of dollars to develop Gwadar seaport which could link Central Asian trade with rest of the world, irritates the US including its other allies like India and Israel. Balochistan has even shifted the central gravity of the Great Game to Pakistan. Notably, Washington which signed a deal of civil nuclear technology with New Delhi wants to counterbalance China by making India the superpower of Asia. In this regard, a cold war has already started between the US and China.

As a ‘nuclearised’ Pakistan will be the arena of the next cold war, hence American CIA, Indian RAW and Israeli Mossad are creating instability by supporting separatist and hostile elements in Balochistan and other cities of our country. In this respect, besides suicide attacks and assaults on Pakistan’s security personnel, other incidents like kidnappings and killings of Iranians and Chinese engineers in the last three years might be cited as example.

In this regard, the problem was not restricted to Balochistan alone, it also related to the Karakorum Highway, which was extended to Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa and the tribal areas of Pakistan. The fight in the name of Islam started in Bajor, Malakand and Swat, when in 2004; China signed an agreement with the government of Pakistan for an extension of the historical highway from Gilgat to Swat, passing through Dir and Chitral. That highway was named the Karakorum Highway phase II.

As soon as some parts of that plan were brought to world’s attention, a siren went off in the capitals of some countries—especially Washington, New Delhi and Tel Aviv. The USA took it as a threat to its global plans, and India felt that it threatened its integrity. American close ally, Israel also took it as a greater threat from an Islamic country.

Nonetheless, we cannot see the recent plot of the parcel-bombs in isolation, all similar conspiracies including this one has been created by the Indo-Israeli lobbies with the support of some Americans to target the Islamic country, while these entities have intensified anti-Pakistan campaign.

NATO supply route through Pakistan is essential: US State Dept

Pakistan blocked the main Nato supply route into Afghanistan this morning after repeated incursions by NATO helicopters over the past week. US State Department said that we support the democratic government in Pakistan and the supply route of NATO forces through Pakistan is very important.
During a briefing, the US State Department told that there can be other routes for NATO supplies as well. US is still determined to increase the strengthening capacity of Pakistani government. It was also stated in the briefing that Pakistani nation has proved that they support democracy rather than dictatorship. US is in constant contact with political and military leaderships of Pakistan.

NAB sentences Sohail Zia to three years in prison

LAHORE: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has sentenced PML-N leader and a close relative of PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif, Sohail Zia Butt, to three years in prison, said sources on Friday.

According to sources, he got this three year term when he failed to appear in the court, and was declared a proclaimed offender by the court in 2001.

NAB court has sentenced him to serve a three year prison term today (Friday).

During the hearing, Sohail Zia Butt asked how he could appear in court when he did not receive a notice.

NAB rejected Butt’s arguments and said he can file a petition in Lahore High Court (LHC) against his prison term.

According to NAB officials, Sohail Zia Butt had taken loan from the National Industrial and Credit Finance Corporation, which he failed to return.

ICC vows to root out cheats, preserve game’s integrity

LONDON: Cricket’s governing body vowed on Friday to do whatever necessary to root out cheats and preserve the integrity of the game after suspending three Pakistan players over match-fixing claims.

International Cricket Council (ICC) chief executive Haroon Lorgat told a news conference that the case was now the subject of a criminal investigation and spoke of his “extreme disappointment.”

“We will do whatever we can to preserve the integrity of the game,” he added.

The three players: captain Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir had been suspended by the ICC on Friday on “various charges,” the body’s anti-corruption chief Ronnie Flanagan said. He declined to detail the charges.

“We have come to the conclusion that they have a case to answer,” said Flanagan. AGENCIES

Blast rocks Yaum-ul-Quds rally in Quetta, 9 killed

QUETTA: Nine people were killed, over 50 were injured when a blast detonated at a rally held to express solidarity with the Palestinian people in Quetta on Friday, sources said.

According to sources, Yaum-ul-Quds rally, comprising of hundreds people was taken out at Meezan Chowk, Quetta, when an explosion went off right in the middle of the rally, killed at least nine people while 50 others were injured.

SAMAA reporter Noor Ilahi Bugti was also injured in the blast.

The deceased and injured are being taken to Civil Hospital.

The nature of the bomb was not known yet.

“No adequate security arrangements were made on the routes,” said sources.

Firing was also heard after the blast.

Suicide Attack in Jamrood, 12 Troopers among 15 Die

LANDI KOTAL: A suicide attack on a military convoy Wednesday left at least 15 people, including 12 paramilitary personnel, dead here at Khyber agency.

A suicide bomber rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into a Khasadar patrol at Wazirdand area of Tehsil Jamrood, killing 12 of its personnel and three passersby on spot.

“They were on a routine patrol when a suicide bomber in a car attacked them and killed all twelve of our policemen,” Tariq Hayat Khan, a top regional security official, told a news agency. Khasadars, consists of local tribesmen, routinely serves as a police force in the tribal belt of country’s northwest.

Eighteen people were also injured in the attack and were rushed to medical facilities in neighboring Peshawar.

Heavy contingents of Pakistan Army and Frontier Constabulary arrived at the scene soon after the attack and cordoned off the area. The main Pak-Afghan Highway that passes the town has also been closed for all kinds of traffic that has been diverted to other routes.

An officer of Khasadar force, Zarmat Khan Afridi, is also among those killed in the Wednesday’s attack. The government had recently announced to confer a medal on Afridi for his outstanding services against Taliban and other extremists in the area.

Pakistan News: JUI Chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman has called upon the Supreme Court to form a judicial commission to figure out the reasons behind the army offensive, saying that the army is killing its own people.
Addressing a joint press conference with former JI chief Qazi Hussain Ahmed, he said the opposition was supporting the government, adding that the Kashmir issue was being neglected while the problems were also being enhanced at the eastern border. He observed that the president enjoyed immunity. He maintained that Taliban were deliberately cornered during the London Conference and called to immediately stop the operation in the country and initiate talks with the Taliban.

Foolproof Security For Chehlum Processions: CCPO Waseem Ahmed

Karachi, Pakistan News: CCPO Karachi Waseem Ahmed has said that foolproof security measures would be taken for the processions on the eve of Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain.
Presiding over a security meeting at Karachi Arts Council, Waseem said that the routes of the processions would be taken over 24-hours ahead, while the cops would be given special passes before their deployment in the processions. Waseem said that distribution of Niaz in boxes would not be allowed.

Inverted Nipples

Inverted Nipples, Since anywhere from ten to twenty percent of all women have them. They do not pose any health risk, although they may be troublesome to new mothers attempting to get an infant to latch on to the breast and feed. The easiest way to check whether your nipples are innies or outies is to gently pinch behind one, around the edges of the areola (the dark circle). If the nipple protrudes, it is an outie. However, an inverted nipple will actually retract into the breast.

For these women, most solutions are rather simple. As an added bonus, the cheapest fixes are even free! Inverted nipples are actually connected to the breast tissue underneath them by bands of connective tissue. If these connections can be loosened or broken, the nipple will stand out. Beyond breastfeeding, since there is no medical evidence that inverted nipples are harmful, women who dislike them face a largely cosmetic problem. If the solutions above don’t work, she does have the option of plastic surgery. Several different procedures can be used to correct inverted nipples, and most are geared towards keeping sensation and ability to breastfeed intact. With all the routes surgery can take, a woman should thoroughly explore her options and discuss her goals clearly and thoroughly with a surgeon before she undergoes any procedure.

Youm-e-Ashur Being Observed Today

Pakistan News: Yaum-e-Ashur, the 10th day of Muharram, is being observed with reverence and religious fervor throughout the country and Azad Kashmir today to pay tributes to Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his companions for the supreme sacrifices rendered by them for the cause of truth, justice and righteousness.
The day is observed to commemorate the supreme sacrifice rendered by Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his 72 companions at Karbala to uphold the truth.
The security have been put on high alert as the Rangers and Pakistan Army have been deployed along all the routes of the processions and venues of Majaalis in various cities of the country to plug chances of any untoward incident.
The provincial governments will keep a strict vigilance on the elements propagating sectarian hatred and for this purpose, security cameras are installed.
In Rawalpindi, the main procession of Alam, Zuljinnah and Tazia will be taken out from Imambargah Colonel Maqbool Hussain. After passing through its traditional route, it will terminate at Imambargah Qadeemi in the afternoon.
In Karachi, the day is being observed with the resolve and pledge that no sacrifice will be spared for the cause of supremacy of Islam and truth.
The law enforcement agencies have been put on red alert to thwart any attempt to create lawlessness. Stringent security measures have been taken for peaceful passage of Ashura procession and to ensure peace and tranquility. The entire route of the main mourning procession of Zulljinnah, Alam and Taiza will be covered by Rangers, police and other law enforcers. All the streets with exit to MA Jinnah Road is completely sealed with placement of containers and other barricades with members of law enforcing agencies deployed to ensure that no unauthorized person sneaks into the mourning procession.
The main mourning procession will be taken out from Nishtar Park, the procession, after traversing through its traditional route, will culminate at Hussainain Iranian Imambargah at Kharadar in the evening.
In Lahore, the main Zuljinnah procession will be taken out from Nisar Haveli, inside Mochi Gate. It will terminate at Karbala Gamey Shah in the evening after passing through its traditional routes.
Tazia, Alam and Zuljinah processions will be taken out from various localities of the metropolis, which after passing through their traditional routes will join the main procession. The city police have made elaborate security arrangements to check any sort of untoward incident during Majalis-e-Aza, ‘Alam’ and ‘Tazia’ processions.
In Peshawar, the main procession will be taken out from Imam Bargah Alamdar Karbala near Qisa Khwani. After passing through its traditional route it will terminate at its starting point.
In major cities of Balochistan including the provincial capital, Quetta, Youm-e-Ashur will be observed with reverence and religious solemnity.
All shops, hotels and houses located on traditional routes of the procession have been sealed on to ensure safe passage of the procession.
In Muzaffarabad, the main procession will be taken out from Markazi Imam Bargah Pir Ilam Shah and after passing through its traditional routes, it will terminate at the Imam Bargah in the evening.
In Gilgit, the biggest Ashura procession will be taken out from central Imamia Mosque.
