Sharing Information About 26/11, India Avioded
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior Rehman Malik has said that India could avoid Mumbai terrorist attacks by sharing the information it had regarding the possible threat with Pakistan on time, reports ARY NEWS.
In an interview with a Saudi daily published Thursday, Malik said that no evidence was provided in the three dossiers handed over by India regarding the alleged involvement of Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed in Mumbai attacks.
“On the grounds that we have received no such evidence that he was involved in Mumbai incident, Saeed can not be detained despite the issuance of Red Corner notice by Interpol,” Malik said, adding that his country is probing into the allegations without any “foreign pressure”.
The Minister said Pakistan wants to see the information India had provided to Interpol on Mumbai attacks.
