School destroyed in Khyber Agency

KHYBER AGENCY: Terrorists have attacked a government middle school in Tehsil Barra, Khyber Agency Thursday.

The school situated in Sipa was destroyed by the explosives. The school building was damaged completely while some houses near the school were also damaged.

No causality was reported.

Sources informed that terrorists have targeted 24 schools in the area this year. SAMAA

5 Rockets Fired at a School in Badrashi: Nowshehra

Pakistan News: In the area of Badrashi, Nowshehra, 5 rockets were fired on a school from an unidentified location.
According to the sources, 5 rockets were fired on Government Girls High School at around 12.30 am, due to which the school building was partially damaged; however no casualties were reported. Gunfire was also heard soon after these rockets were fired in the area. Local police then began a search operation in the area after this incident.

School Building Blown up in Peshawar

PESHAWAR, Pakistan News: Unknown miscreants have blown up with exclusives another school situated in outskirt village Mithra in Peshawar on Saturday night.

According to sources, the explosion occurred as the planted bomb went off annihilating completely two of school’s rooms but in the meantime.

Police have lodged FIR against unknown extremists upon the complaint of school’s watchman, police sources added.

Maoists Blow Up School Building In Jharkhand:Maoists blew up a school building at Banbirua in Jharkhand’s Latehar district, a senior police officer said on Tuesday.

A group of armed Maoists stuffed dynamites and triggered the blast late on Monday night in the school at Banbirua, Superintendent of Police Kuldip Diwedi said here.

There was no loss of life in the incident, he said.

Maoists blew up the structure to prevent the security forces from using it as a make-shift camp during the ensuing five-phase assembly elections starting on November 25.

A team of police personnel has reached the spot and launched raids against the Maoist guerrillas, Diwedi said.
