Students protest over raise in academic fee

LAHORE: Students and parents staged protest over the raise in academic fee for the second time this year, SAMAA learnt Friday.

According to sources, students and teachers took to streets after a private school increased academic fee in Township area of Lahore and blocked the college road.

“We are suffering from mental and financial woe after this raise,” said protesters.

Students demanded Punjab government to take strict notice of fee increment and take immediate action against school administration. SAMAA

A pair of messages purporting that Britney has joined the “Dark Side” were posted to the singer’s account on Thursday.
