Centuries of Sehwag and Kohli picks Indian total to 370
With the centuries of Virender Sehwag and Virat Kohli Indian team sets a total of 370 runs in the first match against Bangladesh at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur.
According to details Bangladesh won the toss and elected to field first. Openers Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag started the innings confidently and played beautiful strokes all over the ground. Their partnership ended on 69 when confused Tendulkar reached into Sehwag’s crease, but he was ready not for run. The host fielders had not made any mistake and little master have to go back he scored 28 runs. Next batsman, Gautam Gambhir played sensibly along with Sehwag and continued scoring. When Indian total reached at 152, Gambhir couldn’t play the swinging delivery of Mahmudullah, and the ball hits the bails. He scored 39 runs on the equal number of balls.
Next, batsman Virat Kohli and played responsibly along with Sehwag. In 48th over Sehwag couldn’t understand the incoming delivery of Saqibul and the ball hit the wickets. He scored 175 
runs with the help of five massive sixes and 14 boundries.
Kohli completed his hundred in the last over with the help of 8 fours and 2 sixes he scored unbeatable 100 runs. Aggressive hitter Yusuf Pathan (8) bowled out by Shafiul on the last ball of the inngins. At the end Indian total was 370/4. Shafiul Islam, Saqibul Hasan and Mahmudullah took one wicket each.
Bangladesh now need 371 runs to win at 7.40 runs per over.

India Vs South Africa Scorecard, Cricket Score Live Update, KOLKATA : Virender Sehwag smashed an unbeaten 52 off 45 balls as India raced to 97-2 at lunch on the second day of the second and final Test against South Africa on Monday.
Sehwag, 31, hit eight fours and a six on his way to his 22nd Test half-century after Zaheer Khan (4-90) picked up the last South African wicket to bowl out the tourists for 296 in their first innings.

Sachin Tendulkar was unbeaten on nine as India trailed South Africa by 199 runs at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
India, who lost the first Test in Nagpur by an innings and six runs, need a win to square the series and retain their number one position in the official Test rankings.
The belligerent Sehwag smashed fast bowler Dale Steyn (0-29) for three fours in a row, before dishing out a similar treatment to Morne Morkel (1-35).
Wayne Parnell was not spared either, Sehwag driving the paceman to the covers for a four and following it up with a hoisted six to the third-man boundary.
Parnell had so far conceded 30 runs off his four wicketless overs.
South Africa had a chance to dismiss Sehwag on 47 but Jean-Paul Duminy grassed a simple chance off Morkel at first slip.
Gautam Gambhir looked set for a long innings but was run out as he went for a sharp second run on Sehwag’s call. He hit three fours in his 38-ball 25 and shared 73 runs for the opening wicket with Sehwag.
Murali Vijay (seven) edged Morkel behind the wicket where AB de Villiers, keeping wicket in the absence of the injured Mark Boucher, took a fine catch diving to his right.
Zaheer brought an end to the South African innings when he trapped Parnell leg before wicket for 12 in the fourth over of the day after the visitors resumed at the overnight 266-9.

Virender Sehwag, Follow on in Cricket, India South Africa, NAGPUR, India: Virender Sehwag cracked a fine century under pressure before South Africa hit back to reduce India to 221-4 at tea on the third day of the first Test on Monday.

The explosive opener hit 15 fours in his 109-run knock and shared 136 runs for the fourth wicket with debutant Subramaniam Badrinath after India were reeling at 56-3 at the Vidarbha Cricket Association stadium in Nagpur.
Sehwag was dismissed shortly after reaching his 18th Test century when he sliced a wide-ish delivery from paceman Wayne Parnell (1-31) to cover where Jean-Paul Duminy took a well-judged catch.
Badrinath (56 not out) and skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni (six) were the two not out batsmen at the break.
India faced an uphill task of saving the match as they trail South Africa by 337 runs with six wickets in hand, with another 138 runs needed to avoid the follow-on.
The Indians would have been in deeper trouble but for Badrinath and Sehwag, who batted with a mix of caution and aggression during his 139-ball knock.
Badrinath overcame a nervous start to complete his half-century off 123 balls and had hit seven fours so far.
He proved a perfect foil for Sehwag, who twice hit Morne Morkel (1-58) for fours and did not spare Dale Steyn (2-48) either.
Replying to South Africa’s first innings 558-6 declared, India were off to a disastrous start, losing their three top-order wickets inside the first hour.
Steyn got rid of Sachin Tendulkar (seven) and Murali Vijay (four) after Morkel had dismissed Gautam Gambhir (12) to reduce the hosts to 119-3 at lunch.
Gambhir, coming into the series with eight centuries in his last 11 Tests, was out off the first ball he faced when he was caught by wicketkeeper Mark Boucher after poking at an away-going delivery.
Vijay, playing only his fourth Test, was surprised by a searing delivery from Steyn that moved in off the seam to clip his off-stump.

Steyn struck again within five overs when he had Tendulkar caught by Boucher. Tendulkar tried to drive but ended up offering an outside edge.
The second and final Test between the world’s top two teams begins in Kolkata on February 14.
South Africa can snatch back the number one Test ranking from India if they win the series while the hosts need just a draw to remain on top.
