Selena Gomez’s Role in New Movie!

It appears as though Selena Gomez is finally over her good girl image at least when it comes to the television screen. The 19 year old is going to have a part in an upcoming movie that will have all of her fans surprised. It will be nothing like her role played in Wizards of Waverly Place.

Selena Gomez is expected to complete her world tour in South America in about three more weeks. Once she has returned to the States she will be in Florida with the indie filmmaker Harmony Korine. They will be working on the movie Spring Breakers which will also feature, James Franco, Vanessa Hudgens, and Emma Roberts.

The three actresses will play the role of friends who decide to rob the bank in order to pay for their spring-break vacation. Selena Gomez will be playing the role of a character by the name of Faith.

Selena Gomez has indicated that the character she plays is more tamed out of the three. However, she also admits that she does get a little crazy every once in a while. When they are on spring-break the friends get into just about everything. They party, drink, and even go to jail.

Selena Gomez ready to tackle a more mature film role

TrendPK.com: Selena Gomez is growing up these days, and now she is ready to show that off in a new, more mature film role.

Gomez has reportedly signed on for a role in Harmony Korin’s ‘Spring Breakers,’ states UsMagazine.com. Gomez will allegedly play a college student who robs a restaurant with friends to fund a spring break trip.

However, due to how events play out, the cast is reportedly bailed out of jail by a drug dealer who wants to put them to work.

“It’s a different character than I have ever played before,” Gomez commented about being excited about taking on the challenge.

TrendPK.com: Selena Gomez is getting a lot of hosting work these days as she will be hosting the MTV Europe Music Awards this year.

Gomez was recently announced as the host for the show that will take place in Ireland on November 6th, states Just Jared.

“I’m so excited to be the host of the 2011 MTV EMA – it’s a dream come true,” Gomez commented in a statement.

She most recently co-hosted the red carpet events at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Justin Bieber Wants to be a Young Father

He is still just a teenager but 17 year old Justin Bieber already has his future mapped out and his five year plan includes being married and starting a family by the time he’s 25. Bieber revealed his future plans and feelings during an interview with Womens Wear Daily.

“Well, by 25 or 26, I want to see myself, like, married or start looking for a family,” he said when asked where he sees himself in five years. “I want to be a young dad. I want to be able to have done what I wanted to do — to be successful, to do a movie or whatever. But if the time is right, I definitely want to be married by 25.”

Although he quickly added;

“One thing — I’m not looking to get married now.”

It would be interesting to know what his current girlfriend Selena Gomez has to say on the subject.

Gomez will reportedly anchor the pre-show where she will interview others in the business alongside Sway Calloway, Jim Cantiello and James Montgomery, states MTV.

“I am very excited to be a part of the 2011 VMAs! After all of my years watching the VMAs, the pre-show has always been one of my favorite parts. It is a true honor to be hosting from the black carpet this year,” Gomez commented in a statement.

Selena Gomez comedy “Monte Carlo” coming to Blu-ray, DVD

Fox Home Entertainment has announced an Oct. 18 release date on Blu-ray and DVD for the charming feature, which earned $22 million at the summer box office. In the film, Gomez plays Grace, a small-town teenager who finally gets to go on her dream vacation to Paris, only to find herself in a whirlwind fantasy of mistaken identity and unexpected romance.

Selena Gomez attends MTV Movie Awards without Justin Bieber

TrendPK.com: Although Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have been all around together these days, the two did not walk the red carpet together at the MTV Movie Awards.

Gomez walked solo as Bieber later made a surprise appearance, which she almost spoiled, states Hollyscoop. When Gomez was asked if Bieber was there, she first said “yes,” but then realized what she had done.

“Oh no, no, he’s not here,” Gomez corrected herself. She also commented that she was hoping he would win that night.

While at the Billboard Music Awards, the two locked lips when Bieber was announced the winner of Best New Artist, states UsMagazine.com. While they aren’t talking about their relationship, their hug and kiss said plenty.

Bieber and Gomez have been rumored to be planning a summer trip together before their schedules get too busy again.

Pink takes aim at Selena Gomez’s music video, painted horses

TrendPK.com: Selena Gomez was recently shooting a music video where she had some painted horses with her, something Pink has a problem with.

Pink didn’t seem aware that Gomez was the one with the horses, but that didn’t stop her from addressing the matter, states E! News. “If there are any animal activists around Malibu-at Leo Cabrillo State beach, there are horses being painted for a stupid music video,” Pink wrote on Twitter.

There were lavender horses at Gomez’s shoot, but there are reportedly humane guidelines for painting horses, although Pink may be completely against the act.
