Swat, Pakistan News: Polling is underway for by-polls in constituency NA-21 Mansehra 2, and constituency of Provincial Assembly PF-83 in Swat.

n constituency NA-21 Mansehra Tahir Ali candidate of Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N), Salahauddin of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Zargul of Pakistan Muslim League-Q are running for victory. The seat got vacant in the said seat after the demise of Muhammad Khan. In constituency PF-83 Swat 4 Rehmat Ali Khan (ANP), Jurat Khan (PML-Q), Hussain Kanju from Jamaat Islami, Sher Muhammad Khan Tehreek-e-Insaaf and independent candidate Muhammad Khan are in run.this seat fell vacant after killing of Dr Shamsher Khan in a suicide blast.
Eighty polling stations have been set up in the constituency and security has been tightened. Swat constituency has declared sensitive while the extraordinary security measures have been adopted for the purpose.

Election Campaign Ends in Gilgit-Baltistan
PAKISTAN: Election Campaign Ends in Gilgit-Baltistan, The election campaign in Gilgit-Baltistan has ended and the polling for 23 out of 24 seats of the legislative assembly will be held on November 12.
Polling will begin at 8am and will continue without a break till 4pm tomorrow. Election in constituency 19 will not be held as MQM candidate died. Some 1022 polling stations have been established in 6 districts, 153 have been declared sensitive while 119 extremely sensitive. Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Qamar Zaman Kaira said that fool proof security would be ensured during the election.
