Pakistan denounces US intel leaks as ”skewed”
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Monday denounced leaked US intelligence reports accusing its premier spy agency of supporting Taliban insurgents as “skewed” and inconsistent with realities on the ground.
Tens of thousands of documents dating from 2004 to 2009 were released by whistleblowers” website Wikileaks to the New York Times, Britain”s Guardian newspaper and Germany”s Der Spiegel weekly.
“These are far-fetched and skewed reports, evidently inconsistent with ground realities,” foreign ministry spokesman Abdul Basit said.

WASHINGTON: The Pentagon is assessing the damage from the massive leak of secret military documents on Afghanistan.
A Pentagon spokesman says it may take days or weeks to fully assess the damage.

The documents indicate Pakistani intelligence agents are helping the Taliban attack U.S. and NATO troops.
