US Drone Strikes kill 8 in North Waziristan

MIRAN SHAH, trendpk: At least eight persons were killed and several injured in strikes by pilotless US spyplanes in tehsil Mir Ali of North Waziristan tribal region on Tuesday.
The drones fired missiles at two houses in Ghulam Khan area of Mir Ali killing eight persons and injuring several others, sources said. The injured have been shifted to hospital.
The sources fear increase in death toll in drone strikes.
The region was also targeted yesterday in which 21 persons were killed.
11 militants killed in Lower Orakzai
HANGU: Eleven militants were killed during a clash between militants and security forces in Lower Orakzai Agency.
According to sources, militants attacked a check post in Astori Khel area. Eleven militants were killed and several injured during retaliatory action by security forces. The forces also launched search operation in the area after the attack.
US Drone Strike in N Waziristan, 3 killed
MIRANSHAH, Pakistan News: A pilotless US drone aircraft attacked a suspected militant target in North Waziristan tribal region on Saturday, killing three people, officials said.
Two missiles hit a house in Sedgae village and Babar Raghzai area of North Waziristan in the attack. Two people were wounded, the officials said.
The U.S. has launched numerous missile strikes inside Pakistan’s territory, killing hundreds of civilians and dozens of suspected militants as well. Pakistan publicly protests the strikes but is believed to secretly aid them.
Earlier today, at least 10 people were killed in an exchange of fire between militants from the Ansarul Islam and Lashkar-i-Islam organisations in the Khyber agency.
Armed supporters of the two groups had taken positions and were using heavy weapons in order to target rival hideouts in the Tirrah Valley.
At least two houses were also destroyed in the clashes. Hundreds have been killed in bloody clashes between the two groups in the past five years.
Meanwhile, in Mohmand, 10 militants were killed and several injured during an exchange of fire with security forces in the Safi tehsil.

US Drone strikes 15 kill in North Waziristan, Pakistan News :- At least fifteen people were killed including key Al-Qaeda member Zohaib Al Zahidi and seven foreigners while several injured in US drone strikes in North Waziristan on Thursday.
According to sources, US drones targeted two houses in Amboor Shaga and Degan area around 6pm this evening. Two missiles each were fired on both the houses destroying them completely while several people were caught under debris. Local residents started relief activities in affected houses after the incident. Two vehicles were also destroyed by the attack. US drones had been flying in the area since early morning whereas 5 drones kept flying even after the attack, sources revealed.

At Least 30 Dead in Rawalpindi Mosque Attack
RAWALPINDI, Pakistan News: At least 30 people were killed and several injured Friday when gunmen stormed a mosque in Rawalpindi, detonating bombs and shooting at worshippers.
Interior Minister Rehman Malik while talking to foreign news agency confirmed the killing of 30 people whereas ISPR has confirmed that 14 persons killed in the incident. Children are also among the deceased.
According to sources three terrorists have been killed in retaliatory fire by security forces. A part of the mosque also damaged in the incident.
Reports said at least six to seven gunmen entered into Parade Lanes mosque located near Qasim market. They threw hand grenades initially followed by indiscriminate firing. Security forces officials opened retaliatory fire.
Security force cordoned off the roads leading toward the mosque and helicopters are hovering over the affected area.
The injured have been shifted to CMH and other hospitals. Large number of people was present in the mosque when the incident happened as firing is still going on. Security forces and Rescue 1122 teams are present at incident site whereas snipers have been deployed at the buildings in the area.

Us Not Hinder The Process Of Musharraf’s Case
WASHINGTON: US has said it will not hinder the process of Pervez Musharraf apprehension as it declared the matter purely related to Pakistan’s internal affairs.
The spokesman to the US foreign office P.J Crowley stated talking to media here on Tuesday.
The government of Pakistan will do whatever it wants with former president Musharraf and US will not interfere in that, spokesman responded to a question.
“US, at the moment, is deeply focusing on the forthcoming Afghan elections and following its successful conclusion, US will hold dialogue with Taliban”, he added.![]()
6 Pakistanis Killed In Somalia By Gunmen
MOGADISHU: Six Pakistanis were killed by unidentified gunmen on in Somalia’s semi-autonomous Puntland region, witnesses said.
Two other people were wounded in the attack at a mosque inGalkayo, residents said, adding that the foreigners came from Pakistan on Tuesday and were dressed as Islamist preachers.
“Masked gunmen opened fire in the mosque, killing six Pakistanis and injured two others,” resident Sheikh Abdiqadir Ali told foreign news agency.
“Puntland forces have reached the mosque to carry away the dead bodies,” the elder Mohamed Hussein told the agency by phone from Galkayo.
“These foreigners, mostly Pakistanis, were 25 in number and arrived from Pakistan yesterday.”
More 56 Families Of Internally Displaced Persons Leave For Home
PAKISTAN, NOWSHERA: Fifty-two families of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) left for Bajaur Agency from Galozai camp on Wednesday.The incharge of Jalozai camp 1 Allahdad Durrani said 52 families of 364 persons left for Bajaur from camp 1 in a convoy of seven trucks. Strict security measures had been taken at this occasion.
Road Mishaps In Mirpur Mathelo 9 Killed
PAKISTAN, MIRPUR MATHELO: Nine persons were killed and several injured in traffic accidents near Mirpur Mathelo and Khairpur.
According to hospital sources, four persons Iqbal Qureshi, Barkat Malik, Ilyas and Jabbar killed and 37 others wounded when a bus travelling from Sehwan to Sahiwal overturned at National Highway. The first aid of injured had been delayed because of no-availability of doctors in district hospital Mirpur Mathelo. Seven critically injured were shifted to Rahim Yar Khan.
In another road mishap, two motorcyclists were killed when a coach hit their motorbike at Dharki National Highway. Another accident happened near Khairpur where a Sehwan- bound bus had overturned due to brakeage of tie rod in Tandi Masti Khan. Two persons and a child were killed and 22 injured. The wounded rushed to Gambat and Khairpur hospitals.
