Katrina shoots tapori item number for Mere Brother Ki Dulhan

The last time Katrina Kaif shook her legs to an item number, it ended up becoming a national anthem of sorts. Yes…we are indeed talking about the chartbusting ‘Sheila Ki Jawani‘ track from Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan which had Kat looking her sexiest best.

Now the latest buzz is that in her forthcoming film-YRF’s Mere Brother Ki Dulhan – Katrina is all set to outshine her last effort by performing the baap of all item songs. The song is a full-on tapori number and will have Katrina dancing at a roadside dhaba.

Sohail Sen has composed the music while ace choreographer Bosco will be making Kat dance to his tunes. It will be interesting to see if this item numbers manages to surpass the mass hysteria created by Katrina’s last item song ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’.

Ranbir Kapoor voted Sexiest Asian Man

Ranbir Kapoor, the heartthrob of the nation, has been voted ‘Sexiest Asian Man’ as per a survey conducted by the London weekly Eastern Eye. Bollywood hunk John Abraham narrowly missed out on the top spot by finishing second while Hrithik Roshan occupied the third spot. R&B star Jay Sean and Pakistani singer-actor Ali Zafar bagged the fourth and fifth spots.

With Ranbir topping the Sexiest Asian Man poll, one can safely state that his fan following seems to be growing manifold with each passing day.

Sitting pretty atop another poll for 3 consecutive years Katrina Kaif was recently announced Eastern Eye’s Sexiest Woman beating off contemporaries from around the world third time in a row.

Apart from being amongst the most photographed actresses in the world Katrina Kaif is also considered highly bankable not to mention uber sexy and confident. After proving her acting prowess in Raajneeti Katrina Kaif went on to scorch screens with her latest song Sheila Ki Jawani from her forthcoming release Tees Maar Khan one of the year’s highly anticipated movies.

Eastern Eye showbiz editor Asjad Nazir, who was chairman of the selection panel, thinks that Katrina’s win is all the more remarkable because of the incredibly high standard. “Although Bollywood heroines dominated the top 10, the list for 2010 included stunning beauty pageant winners, top actresses from around the world, pop stars and TV personalities. That is why Katrina should be deservedly proud of her amazing win.”

Delighted with the hat -trick says Katrina Kaif “I’m very happy that I have made it to the top of Eastern Eye’s list again. England is off course a very special place to me and I think it’s very sweet to be voted the sexiest by them. I just want to thank everyone for the support,”

Kareena Kapoor chooses Shahid over Hrithik and John

MUMBAI: Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor were once the mushy couple of the Bollywood tinsel town and were regular painters of the gossip columns. They even made headlines when their lip lock became a rage and did the nationwide tour via cellular mms.

However, after Saif flaunted his ‘Tashan’ and Kareena her lime-green bikini, a fresh love bloomed and Shahid got unceremoniously dumped. But you can’t prevent Kareena from being the candid gal that she is.

Even Karan was stumped for once and Shahid must have had his heart in his mouth for one split second.

Kareena also took a jibe at Priyanka Chopra taunting her for her accent and calling her the number two actress after herself. Saif and Kareena lashed out their tongues and delighted Karan with more comments; something that is bound to stir the nation’s imagination. Earlier, the episode featuring Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone had also grabbed quite a few eyeballs.
