Last week, it was Aamir and Kiran celebrating the arrival of the new member into their family. And this week, it’s the actress turned entrepreneur, Shilpa Shetty, who jumping with joy. Shilpa who is currently in her second trimester is expecting her first child with husband Raj Kundra.

Says Shilpa on twitter, “Tweetos,”YES”an addition 2 r family is r confirmation 2 all queries We seek blessings from all in this very beautiful phase of our lives.”

Says Raj, “Shilpa and I are happy to announce that we are expecting an addition to our family. We are ecstatic and wanted to share the great news with you given all the love and support you’ve showered on us. Seeking your good wishes and blessings in this beautiful phase of our lives.”

Shilpa Shetty signed up as brand ambassador of Dabur Honey?

Shilpa Shetty is someone, who after having started her film career at the age of 18 with the SRK in Baazigar, has indeed come a long way.

After her international claim to fame, courtesy Big Brother, Shilpa has been the favourite in the world of brand endorsements. Bollywood Hungama’s sources have confirmed that Shilpa Shetty has now been chosen as the brand ambassador of Dabur Honey.

The official announcement of the same is awaited.

Shilpa and Preity’s IPL dreams come to an end

Last weekend was not a particularly a good weekend for two of Bollywood’s beauties namely Preity Zinta and Shilpa Shetty. Their respective IPL teams Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals had been expelled from the IPL by the IPL governing council and BCCI on charges of transgression of shareholding and ownership norms that threatened to “shake the very foundation of the tender process”.

Both Preity and Shilpa but naturally expressed shock and sorrow at this extreme decision taken by the BCCI. Preity tweeted, “Still absorbing the News! After working so hard in the IPL & putting my everything building this team dis is not what I expected! Shocked!”

Meanwhile Shilpa, who was in London when the news broke, also seemed upset at the way the whole issue had been treated by the BCCI. She tweeted, “Honestly too shocked to react, just disheartened…cause its more than just a team 4 us! Still havnt recd the termination will react after. Need to kno the basis of this decision…In London now.”

The IPL had kind of given a fresh lease of life to the sagging acting careers of both Shilpa and Preity. However, now that their respective franchises have been terminated, it remains to be seen what lies in store in the future for these two Bollywood beauties.

Last heard, both teams were contemplating legal action as one last chance to renew their IPL hopes.

Shilpa Shetty to judge Zara Naach Ke Dikha on Star Plus

She is someone who cannot be called as the resident of the ‘Bubble Gum’ generation, as she is not just iconic but also ‘Diva-ic’. She is none other than Shilpa Shetty, the long legged lass, who, after an impactful debut in Baazigar, went onto become a legend in her own right.

If Bollywood, brand endorsements and IPL weren’t enough for this girl, sources close to Bollywood Hungama said that ‘she will now be seen as a judge in ‘Zara Naach Ke Dikha’, a dance reality show to be aired on Star Plus’. Shilpa, needless to say, is on a roll!

Shilpa Shetty Ready for her sangeet

MUMBAI: Bollywood beauty Shilpa Shetty is ready for her sangeet, a day before her grand wedding with London businessman Raj Kundra on Sunday.

Shilpa’s sangeet ceremony, which will be attended by family members and her close friends from the film fraternity, is being held in Khandala.

Reports are that Shilpa will be dancing to the tunes of her own hit numbers with Raj and choreographer Ganesh Hegde will see to it that everybody’s dance moves are perfect.

The couple’s family members and close friends will also be performing. Raj’s family has already flown from London for the ceremony.

The sangeet is likely to b a mix of both south and Punjabi style dance and music. Apart from Shilpa’s own songs, there will be some high-tempo numbers too.

MUMBAI: Shilpa Shettys Marriage Delayed Again, They were supposed to marry this month. But the Shilpa Shetty-Raj Kundra wedding has been postponed again because of the lack of a suitable wedding venue.

This month, after Shilpa timetable for its only waiting Bollywood film, The Man with Sunny Deol, is canceled for the third time, Shilpa and her boyfriend Edgar Kundra decided to finally officially married. A source close to Shilpa says, “Raj and Shilpa decided that this was a good time to get married. Coordination of its outputs with those of Ramirez for a wedding planned in advance seemed longer and more difficult for Shilpa. They decided to marry in the first available
opportunity. It was not just an obstacle, the venue. ”

Apparently not a classy place was available only in Mumbai during this wedding season. The source said, “Raj and Shilpa had decided that the wedding would be in Mumbai and not in London. Ideally, he would have liked to have him in their new home in Juhu, but is not ready yet. The couple did not want to delay your plans more wedding.

A frantic search began for a suitable alternative site. Shilpa says, “I do not know where you heard this. All I will say is, Raj and I are ready for marriage. Nothing prevents us from taking the step, except the right time. Once it is in place, let’s get married .
