Rajasthan Royals Hearing Adjourned By Mumbai High Court
Rajasthan Royals has filed an appeal against their suspension from IPL by the BCCI. BCCI had suspended two IPL teams including Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab. These two teams were suspended due to their share holding matters. According to BCCI these teams breaches the contract and violate its basis clauses.
After the suspension an appeal was filed at Mumbai High Court by the RR team. The hearing of RR has been adjourned to October 29th. In the petition it is also asked that the name Rajasthan Royal should prevail with the team. Shilpa Shetty, the co-owner of the RR team demanded fairness in the decision.
RR has taken the view in the petition that it was not communicated to them that what was the reason of their suspension and they will contest the case as it is their duty to protect their fans, employees and players.
BCCI said that the wrong information has been provided to them and there are also some issues regarding the shareholding which contradict with the contract. In the contract it was mentioned that the original ownership could not be change for first three years but it changed twice. The matter is now judicial and court will decide the case now.
Shilpa Shetty signed up as brand ambassador of Dabur Honey?
Shilpa Shetty is someone, who after having started her film career at the age of 18 with the SRK in Baazigar, has indeed come a long way.
After her international claim to fame, courtesy Big Brother, Shilpa has been the favourite in the world of brand endorsements. Bollywood Hungama’s sources have confirmed that Shilpa Shetty has now been chosen as the brand ambassador of Dabur Honey.
The official announcement of the same is awaited.
Shilpa and Preity’s IPL dreams come to an end
Last weekend was not a particularly a good weekend for two of Bollywood’s beauties namely Preity Zinta and Shilpa Shetty. Their respective IPL teams Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals had been expelled from the IPL by the IPL governing council and BCCI on charges of transgression of shareholding and ownership norms that threatened to “shake the very foundation of the tender process”.
Both Preity and Shilpa but naturally expressed shock and sorrow at this extreme decision taken by the BCCI. Preity tweeted, “Still absorbing the News! After working so hard in the IPL & putting my everything building this team dis is not what I expected! Shocked!”
Meanwhile Shilpa, who was in London when the news broke, also seemed upset at the way the whole issue had been treated by the BCCI. She tweeted, “Honestly too shocked to react, just disheartened…cause its more than just a team 4 us! Still havnt recd the termination will react after. Need to kno the basis of this decision…In London now.”
The IPL had kind of given a fresh lease of life to the sagging acting careers of both Shilpa and Preity. However, now that their respective franchises have been terminated, it remains to be seen what lies in store in the future for these two Bollywood beauties.
Last heard, both teams were contemplating legal action as one last chance to renew their IPL hopes.

Vashu Bhagnani brings Mary Chia to Bollywood
Producer Vashu Bhagnani thinks Bollywood’s actresses need to take extra care of their skin. He has now gone and tied up with the world-renowned Singapore-based skincare and spa-services company Mary Chia and would now be bringing their special beauty treatments especially to Bollywood.
Meetings and negotiations between Bhagnani and Mary Chia have been on for months. The deal has finally been signed.
Says Vashu, “People may think I am diversifying because of the recession in the film industry. Not so. In fact I’m next producing a multi-starrer comedy to be directed by Sajid Khan. No, my tie-up with Mary Chia is predominantly for Bollywood. I feel our industry girls still have a long way to go in understanding skin care.”
Interestingly, Shilpa Shetty who is Vashu’s neighbour at the high-rise that Vashu owns in Juhu is also into skin and spa outlets in Mumbai.
Says Vashu, “We aren’t in competition with anyone. Mary Chia is another league completely.”
Salman Khan to host Bigg Boss 4
After Big B announced the commencement of the popular show Kaun Banega Crorepati, it’s now time for none other than Salman Khan. Sallu will soon be seen hosting season 4 of the popular reality show Bigg Boss.
