AMMAN: Syrian security forces shot dead at least 44 civilians in attacks on pro democracy demonstrations that had erupted across Syria on Friday, the Syrian National Organisation for Human Rights said on Saturday.
Prominent rights campaigner Ammar Qurabi, who heads of the organisation, said more than half were killed in the northwest province of Idlib, where tanks deployed on Friday to crush large demonstrations against autocratic rule.

QUETTA/KOHLO: Three people were shot dead and three others hurt in firing by unknown gunmen in Kohlo on Monday.
Gunmen shot dead workers of a private company in Mandha area of Kohlo. Abdul Qadar, Allah Nazar and Karim Khan died on the spot while Akhtar Khan, Ali Shah and an unknown were wounded.
A company truck was also set on fire by the miscreants.
On the other hand, an employee of Assistant Commissioner Mastung was shot dead. The reason of killing is not known. SAMAA

According to sources, unknown gunmen opened fire on vegetables carts, killed three people and injured one.
The deceased were shifted to Bolan Medical Complex, while the injured was taken to Civil Hospital, Quetta.

LONDON: The International Cricket Council admits the current investigation into ‘spot-fixing’ allegations against three Pakistan players could be extended to cover the country’s dramatic collapse against Australia in Sydney earlier this year.
