Six terror hits in KPK mosques killed 450
Two of these suicide attacks occurred in the month of Ramazan; first occurred at Lahori Gate while the second occurred yesterday in Jamrud.
The first ever suicide attack in a mosque in KPK occurred four years back that was targeted at former home minister Aftab Ahmad Khan Sharpao, while the second suicide attack occurred two years back on Jamrud road during Juma prayers.
A third suicide attack also happened two years ago in Lower Dir during Juma prayers. The fourth suicide attack occurred on Friday on the shrine of Akhoon Panju Baba. About 1500 people have been injured in these attacks, according to estimates.

AJMER: Bollywood frontline actress, also winner of most beautiful ‘Eastern Eyes’ award in the year 2010, Katrina Kaif Saturday made her ways at Shrine of Sufi Saint Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti (R.A) respectfully known as ‘Khwaja Ghareeb Nawaz’ (Generous for poor people) here in Ajmer Shareef.
Katrina, dressed in white traditional Shalwar Kameez dress, and accompanied by her family members, sought blessings and prayed for success of her upcoming movie ‘Tees Mar Khan’.
On the occasion, she had not forgot to observe complete face-veil as she appeared from her car outside shrine and was fully dressed in white traditional Shalwar Kameez.
She sprinkled flower petals at the shrine of Hazrat Khwaza, spread floral wreath and sought success for her upcoming film ‘Tees Mar Khan’.
Ghazi Baba’s shrine attacked, 3 killed

PESHAWAR: Gunmen attacked the shrine of Sufi saint Ghazi Baba on Tuesday and shot dead three of its caretakers in Badbeer, Peshawar, said police.
A passerby has also been injured.
Suicide bombers have attacked Sufi shrines here in the past.
The bodies of the caretakers and injured were taken to the hospital soon after the attack. TrendPK
We Wont Allow Change in Blasphemy Laws: Sahibzada Karim
Chief of the Sunni Ittehad Council Sahibzada Fazal Karim has said that terrorism has distorted the image of the nation across the globe, adding that those persuading people for suicide attacks are not loyal to Pakistan.
Chief of Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) Sahibzada Fazal Karim while addressing the participants of the long march at Bari Imam shrine in Rawalpindi said that the government has not accepted the SIC demand for legislation to curb terrorism and called an All Parties Conference on the issue.
He said the SIC would not allow abrogation of the blasphemy law. He also demanded release of the arrested activists of the group. Hundreds of Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) workers started accumulating at Bari Imam Shrine to participate in a long march being kicked off on Saturday against the deteriorating law and order situation and terrorism.
The march is being led by chairman SIC Sahibzada Fazal Kareem. The participants of this march would likely to reach Lahore via GT Road initiating from Murree Road today.
Meanwhile, Imam Bari shrine has been sealed with barbed wire. Heavy contingents of Police have been deployed at the entry and exit points of various cities including Rawalpindi to stop long march in Punjab on the call of Sunni Ittehad Council. Several activists of the Ittehad reached the shrine of Bari Imam despite hurdles around the shrine.
Local administration has imposed section 144 in Rawalpindi and arrested several persons from various religious seminaries. The Punjab government banned long march to avert any untoward incident, following the intelligence reports of possible terror attacks.
The spokesperson of council chairman said that around 300 workers of SIC from Mian Channu and 500 workers from Lahore have been arrested so far. Camps which were setup by the council have also been removed from G.T. Road, various cities including Mandrah, Gujranwala and Gujrat, spokesperson added.
It is pertinent to mention here that Sunni Itehad Council had announced a long from Bari Imam Islamabad to Data Darbar Lahore on Saturday Nov 27 (today) against deteriorating law and order and terrorism.
Ghazi’s 1,280th Urs celebration starts today

KARACHI: Abdullah Shah Ghazi’s 1,280th Urs celebration has started in Karachi today (Saturday), Trend Pk learnt.
This year the celebrations are not like previous traditions. At the start of the Urs, the shrine was given a rose water and musk bath. Provincial Minister Auqaf Abdul Haseeb inaugurated the Urs with flower wreathing.
The celebrations will continue for three days. Sindh government has taken special stringent security measures for Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi’s Urs. Police have installed two walkthrough gates. Large numbers of police, rangers and city government volunteers have been deployed for security. Trend Pk

KARACHI: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani visited the Shrine of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi in Clifton here on Tuesday afternoon.
He was accompanied by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah.
The Prime Minister laid a floral wreath at the shrine and offered ‘Fateha’.
It is pertinent to mention here that eight people were killed and dozen others wounded in twin suicide attacks on Abdullah Shah Ghazi shrine earlier this month. SAMAA
Blast in Pakpattan at Sufi shrine of Baba Farid
PAK PATTAN: At least 8 people including a woman were killed in a bomb attack after dawn prayers at the Sufi shrine of Baba Farid here on Monday, police said.
Two men riding a motorbike left a milk container near the gate of the shrine in Pakpattan, 190 kilomtres (120 miles) south of the provincial capital Lahore, which then exploded in a huge fireball, a witness said.
“We have six killed,” DCO Pak Pattan Aslam Hayat Sayyal told reporters. “The rescue work is over. We’re now investigating.
According to police 10 kilogramme explosives were used in attack on the shrine.
Sufi shrines which represent a mystical strain of Islam have frequently been the target of bloody attacks by Islamist militants in Pakistan.
In one of the deadliest strikes, a bomb blast in July at Data Darbar in the eastern city of Lahore killed more than 40 people.
Eight people, including two children were killed in an attack at Abdullah Shah Ghazi Sufi shrine in the teeming port city of Karachi on October 8.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani have condemned the attack.
Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has ordered inquiry of the deadly bombing.
Pakpattan: Blast at Baba Farids shrine; 7 killed
A bomb blast occurred at the shrine of Hazrat Baba Farid Gunj Shakar at Pakpattan, which killed at least 7 people, including 2 women, and injured over 20 others.
According to the eye witnesses, after the Fajar prayers two persons parked their motorbike next to the Sharqi (eastern) Gate of the shrine, and right after ten minutes a huge blast took place.
The explosive material is said to be planted on the motorbike. The sound of explosion was heard across the city, while ten shops located next to the shrine were also completely destroyed.
According to security officials, the blast took place at 6:05 am. Soon after the blast, people managed to shift the injured persons to District Headquarter Hospital where most of them were stated to be in critical condition. Emergency has been declared in DHQ Hospital.
Initial police reports suggest that the terrorists, who allegedly planted the explosive material to a motorbike, were aged between 35-40 and looked like Punjabis, wearing shalwar kameez, chaddars and white joggers.
Strict action will be taken against criminals present in jails: Mirza
Interior Minister Sindh Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza has said that nothing can be said about involvement of BLA in Liyari gang war. Honeymoon of criminals present jails has come to an end.
After visiting the shrine of Sufi Saint Syed Saman Sarkar in Pangriyo, Interior Minister then spoke to media saying that MQM and ANP have cooperated a lot for peace and prosperity in Karachi. Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza also said that majority of Balochs are present in Liyari but not every Baloch can be involved in BLA or Liyari gang war. Criminals present in jails who manage to operate from there and hold kidnappings and other crimes will be dealt strictly from now on, he added.
80th Urs of Saman Sarkar begins in Badin

BADIN: The ceremonies of 80th Urs of Sufi saint Saman Sarkar have began in Pingrio near Badin on Friday.
The Urs was begun by the successor of the shrine, Syed Ali Bux, amid presence of great number of devotees of Saman Sarkar who had come from different parts of country.
For the facility of pilgrims various kinds of stalls had been installed whence people purchased articles of their choice.
On the occasion arrangements for sufi music had been made where sufi singers will perform during the annual rituals for next three days. SAMAA
