Abdul Razzak gets single handed victory for Pakistan. He scored 109 runs not and gets famous victory for Pakistan with 1 ball spare. He also scored most runs for 7th wicket by Pakistan. When he came to bat Pakistan was in trouble as they lost well going Shahid Afridi. At that time he batted sensibly and secures his wicket to play shots at the end of the inning.
He is really the hero for Pakistan in the 2nd ODI against South Africa in Dubai. He played 72 balls for his 109 runs and hit 10 sixes and 7 fours. It was really a fantastic inning in the difficult situation. Pakistan team was looked down after losing five wickets but Razzak returned them their pride.
Shahid Afridi played aggressive inning in the middle and scored 49 runs on 40 balls. When he got out Pakistan’s score was 136 for 5 wickets. Fawad Alam also played sensibly and secured his wicket. He along with Razzak took Pakistan’s total to 217 runs before he got out.
Razzak didn’t panic even seeing wickets falling on the other end. He also denied many singles and retained the strike. All hits made by Abdul Razzak stayed connected and resulted in maximum. He surely was the man of the match. Series is now leveled with 1-1.
PHF inter academy tournament from May 30
LAHORE: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Inter Academy Hockey Tournament will begin from May 30 in Lahore.
The event will be played on single league basis. Director tournament Shafqat Malik in a press conference said tournament will be played till June 12 in National Hockey Stadium in which teams of 10 academies will take part. Five matches will be played daily in the single league basis tournament. Top four teams will qualify for the semifinals. Malik added that number of academies will be rise to 20 next year.
Import of duty free cars allowed for handicapped
ISLAMABAD: Government has allowed import of duty free cars for physically handicapped people.
According to press release, under import police order, government had granted permission on September 4, 2009 for the import of cars for disables. Ministry of trade stated that the import car should not be exceeding to 1350 CC, the monthly income of importer between10, 000 to 20,000 and import never had a car.
Euro slides as debt concerns persist
TOKYO: The euro fell against other major currencies in Asia on Thursday after a short-lived rally on intervention rumours amid persistent concerns over eurozone debts, analysts said.
The euro was quoted at 1.2327 dollars in Tokyo afternoon trade after the single currency rallied to 1.2408 dollars in New York late Wednesday. However, it held off from the four-year lows below 1.22 it hit earlier Wednesday.
It also fell to 112.92 yen from 113.90.
The dollar was at 91.39 yen, down from 91.70 yen in New York.
The euro staged its strongest rally since the beginning of the year in New York on Wednesday following rumours of intervention by the European Central Bank.
There was also speculation the US and British central banks may also be drawn on to shore up the single currency.
However, “I don”t think the ECB wants to intervene at this level”, said Mizuho Corporate Bank market economist Daisuke Karakama.
“It would bring few benefits… If the euro falls further, it would be better for Greece as crisis-hit countries in the past have seen their currencies fall and exports rise,” he said.
Not only Greece but Spain, Portugal and even Germany would be happy with a weak euro, barring drastic falls such as below dollar parity, he said.
“I think that intervention would really be a last resort for the ECB,” as it may implicitly accept the lower euro for now as a benefit to export-dependent eurozone economies,” a director at Canadian bank in Japan told Dow Jones Newswires.
Markets remain concerned despite a near trillion-dollar package to prevent Greece”s debt troubles spreading to the rest of Europe.
Dealers took in their stride Japanese data showing the economy surged in January-March, marking the fourth straight quarter of expansion as the country”s export-driven recovery gathers pace.
The dollar was mostly higher against regional Asian currencies.
The greenback rose to 1,195.90 South Korean won from 1,166.50, to 1.4046 Singapore dollars from 1.3985 and to 45.92 Philippine pesos from 45.56.
It also went up to 9,215 Indonesian rupiah from 9,105 and to 32.42 Thai baht from 32.40. It was unchanged at 32.05 Taiwan dollars.

The trio is also the winner of Fox Networks talent competition ‘The Next Great American Band’.

Mindi Abair (born May 23, 1969) is an American contemporary jazz 
saxophonist with a strong Top-40 pop music background. Mindi has toured and/or recorded with the Backstreet Boys, Duran Duran, Mandy Moore, Josh Groban, Adam Sandler, Keb’ Mo’, Lalah Hathaway, Lee Ritenour, Teena Marie, John Tesh, Bobby Lyle, Jonathan Butler, Peter White and Rick Braun.

In 2003, Abair moved from pop to jazz. James Fortune is a gospel singer, graduated from Kempner High School in Sugar Land, Texas and attended California State University, Northridge.
