Hajj pilgrims in Mina, arriving at Mount Arafat

MECCA: Huge crowds of pilgrims descended on Mina on Sunday for the annual Hajj pilgrimage.

The four-day Islamic pilgrimage is the biggest in the world and draws around 2.5 (m) million worshippers each year.

Pilgrims gathered in their hundreds and thousands in Mina on Sunday, with many crowded in vast white tent camps where worshippers spend the night on the way to the major sites.

Saudi officials said they expect a nearly 20 percent increase in the numbers this year compared to last year.

The Mecca pilgrimage sees Muslim worshippers perform one of Islam’s main pillars, required of every able-bodied Muslim once in their lifetime, as they encircle the Kabaa shrine, pray at the Grand Mosque in Mecca and visit holy sites in Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifa.

The tear in the veill allows the dead to come back to the world as Banelings in exchange for killing for the Keeper. As well, young Hoodlum accidentally becomes the key to the Stone of Tears. He is killed but before he is brought back to life by Cara, Darken Rahl sees the marking on his palm and orders an army of the dead after the key. August Rush is an American drama directed by Kirsten Sheridan. It is often referred as an updated story of Oliver Twist. The film is about a 12-year-old orphan boy who believes he can hear music from his parents. He actually believes he can hear music from everything, for example from leaves.

Later, an accident lands Lyla in the hospital, and though her father tells her that her baby died, the child survives and is given up for adoption. AUGUST RUSH jumps to the present and begins to follow Evan (Freddie Highmore), an 11 year old who has grown up in a boys’ home. As Evan embarks on a crusade to find his parents, he imagines he can communicate with them through his gift for music. His journey to New York City brings him into contact with Wizard (Robin Williams), a man eager to capitalize on the child prodigy’s talent. Wizard gives Evan the name August Rush as he begins performing all over the city, but the boy’s ultimate goal is to find the parents he has never met. From FINDING NEVERLAND to CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, Highmore has displayed an almost prodigious talent himself. He’s a gifted young actor, and this emotional story is the perfect venue for his acting. AUGUST RUSH isn’t a film for the cynics, but even the hard-hearted in the audience will have difficulty not being touched by this sentimental film. As in Evan’s life, music plays a central role in AUGUST RUSH, and it’s tough not to let your heart soar along with the melodies. Though it could draw comparisons to OLIVER! and ANNIE, this is a unique and heartwarming film.
August Rush is a sweet little move with its heart in the right place, but it has two big strikes against it. First, it relies too much on coincidence. Less charitable reviewers would call it contrivance. Second, Robin Williams is in it.

Lynn Redgrave, sister of Vanessa Redgrave, died from breast cancer on Sunday night at age 67 at her home in Connecticut. According to some sources, such as weather.com, the famous Opryland Hotel, due to flooding were evacuated in Nashville, Tennessee. Cumberland River from river floods rise to unprecedented levels, leading to tragic deaths and destruction of many structures. Four British Legislators Charged Over Expenses

British state prosecutors charged four legislators with false accounting over alleged abuses of the parliamentary expenses system.

Chaytor faces three charges of dishonest claims, while Devine faces two charges for making claims based on false invoices. The BBC reported that the three had issued a joint statement denying the charges and vowing to “defend our position robustly”. White faces six charges, centered on numerous claims for overnight expenses for staying in London when records show he was driven home and did not spend the night in London. He could not immediately be reached for comment. The four defendants are scheduled to appear in court on March 11. They face a maximum sentence of seven years in jail.

EJ Henderson Injury latest updates :-  E.J. Henderson broke his leg against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday in a brutal injury that will apparently sideline him for the season while dealing a serious blow to the Vikings’ defensive unit.

Henderson fractured his femur while trying to tackle Tim Hightower late in the fourth quarter – his leg twisting violently as he went down. He was taken off the field on a motorized cart after doctors spent several minutes attending to the star linebacker. His brother and teammate, Erin, held Henderson’s hand as they were driven to the locker room.

Coach Brad Childress said Henderson will spend the night in Phoenix and undergo surgery. EJ Henderson

Henderson has been a key part of Minnesota’s defensive success this season, and it was the second straight year that his season was cut short with injury.
