Man involved in Quetta Express attack, arrested
QUETTA: Frontier Corps Balochistan arrested a man accused of attack on Quetta Express, TrendPK reported Monday.
The FC officials were quite sure that they would soon arrest the other accused involved in the attack on the train.
According to the FC spokesman, a man allegedly involved in the attack on Quetta Express near Mach yesterday, had been arrested. A motorcycle used in the attack was also recovered from his custody.
It should be mentioned here that Quetta Express left three people dead and 18 others sustained injuries. TrendPK
Faisalabad: Dacoits loot Rs 57 lakhs from bank
Dacoits looted Rs 57 lakhs from a bank in Satiyana area of Faisalabad on Friday. trendpk.com has received CCTV footage of the incident.
Five dacoits entered into a private bank situated in Satiyana Bangla and held hostage the staff of the bank. They confiscated arms from security guard Nasir and police constable Abdul Khaliq. The dacoits looted money from cash locker and cash counter and fled the scene.
Gen. Kayani meets Gen. Petreaus, Norwegian dignitaries in GHQ, Rawalpindi
RAWALPINDI: General David H. Petreaus, Commander International Security Assistance Force called on Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani on Sunday (today) at General Headquarters.
According to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release, Her Excellency Miss Grethe Faremo, Norwegian Minister of Defence along with General Harald Sunde, Chief of Norwegian Armed Forces also called, in a separate meeting, on the Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani today at General Headquarters.

COAS, Air Chief visit South Waziristan, Taliban attack Ladha
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kiani and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshall Rao Qamar Sulaiman have visited South Waziristan, trendpk.Com reported on Tuesday.
Soon after their visit Taliban fired rockets in the area of Ladha. COAS declared 2011 as the year of hope for the people of South Waziristan.
On the other hand the rocket attack took place after the COAS and the Air Chief left South Waziristan after inaugurating a basic health unit in Ladha. 4 rockets were fired by taliban but the rockets fell away from the population and therefore no human loss occurred whereas the media team had to hide inside a bunker. Security forces responded to the attack with heavy artillery fires.
Earlier the COAS and the Air Chief met with IDP’s and tribal leaders.
Talking to the media the COAS said that although South Waziristan has been cleared from the extremist groups but still there army would remained deployed in the area.

Speedy bus kills boy in Faisalabad
A speedy bus crushed a student, killing him in Faisalabad on Wednesday. After the incident, angry people set the bus ablaze.
According to police, 17-year-old Zeeshan was crossing the road when bus collided with him. Rescue 1122 shifted in Allied Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Bus driver and other staff fled the scene. After the incident, angry students set the bus on fire.

Washington: Kiyani meets CENTCOM Commander
Chief of The Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kiyani called on the commander of American Central Command General James N. Mattis in Washington.
