Clinton to visit Pakistan next month

ISLAMABAD: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will visit Pakistan next month, TrendPK reported on Tuesday.
Clinton will lead the US delegation in next month’s Pak-US strategic dialogue.
Sources told the media that the US intends to send high profile officials to Pakistan for the visit. The dialogue between two countries is expected to strengthen ties and ease tension. TrendPK

ISLAMABAD: The United Kingdowm (UK) will consider handing over former president of Pakistan General (retd) Pervez Musharraf if Pakistan asks formally, British Prime Minister David Cameron said during his address to a joint press conference with Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday.
Gilani and his British counterpart David Cameron also vowed to strengthen ties between both countries.
In the joint press conference, Gilani said Pakistan has historical ties with the UK and wants to strengthen them more by enhancing bilateral trade.
The PM said that they discussed regional issues, the meeting with India’s Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and ties with his country.
We greatly value the UK’s help during floods, said Gilani.
UK PM David Cameron thanked Gilani for a warm welcome. He said bilateral cooperation will continue between the two countries. TrendPK
Some Powers Want to Limit PPP to one Province: President Zardari
Pakistan News: President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday said Pakistan People’s Party is symbol of federation. Some powers want to limit PPP to one province only but we will fight conspiracies tooth and nail. He said this while chairing the four-hour long meeting of Sindh cabinet at Bilawal House Karachi.
President Zardari urged the nation not to fall prey to the powers active against democracy. Talking to media after the meeting, Information Minister Sindh Shazia Marri told that President has directed to strengthen ties with all coalition parties including Muttahida Qaumi Movement while continuing the reconciliation process. She said NFC Award will be signed in next few days. Shazia Marri revealed that President has not directed to remove or change the ministry of any provincial minister.
