ISLAMABAD: On the directive of Prime Minister Syed Raza Gilani, Shaista, a poor plastic bag seller, was admitted to FG Juniors Model School in Islamabad on Monday.
It may be reminded here that Prime Minister Gilani had promised to enroll Shaista enrolled in a school during his visit to a Sunday Bazaar last week.
Taking notice of the SAMAA report, the Prime Minister directed Islamabad’s commissioner to immediately enroll the plastic bag seller to any school.
At the time of admission, Islamabad’s assistant commissioner was also present in the school. He also gave Rs5000 in cash to the parents of Shaista for buying school uniform. SAMAA

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani visited the Sunday Bazaar in Islamabad’s famous place, Aabpara, and during his visit he noticed a poor girl, Shaista, selling shoppers in the market. PM Gilani took the notice of the condition of minor girl and promised her father that Shaista would be provide quality education by the government.
Aftar a month no official visited Shiasta’s home therefore her father lost hope after being promised by PM Gilani.
SAMAA on Sunday (today) aired the news of PM Gilani’s ignored promise and reminded him to fulfill his promise.
PM Gilani immediately took the notice and order Islamabad Chief Commissioner to visit Shaista’s home.
The Chief Commissioner met Shaista’s father and assured him that Shaista will be admitted in the school tomorrow (Monday). SAMAA
Peshawar suicide blast 8 killed

Peshawar, Pakistan news :- A suicide blast near Cattle Market in Matni area of Peshawar killed five people and injured several others including union nazim Abdul Malik on Sunday.
According to correspondent blast occurred near Sunday Bazaar and nazim Abdul Malik got critically injured in it. Matni SHO said blast was suicide attack and occurred when attacker blew him up after meeting someone in the bazaar.
SHO Riaz Khan told that eight or nine people were killed in the blast. Injured have been shifted to Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar. Police surrounded the area and rescue activities were launched after the blast. Sources told that target of the attack was nazim Abdul Malik.
NWFP Information Minister said blast was suicide one which killed 10 people and injured 15 others. “We will not bow before terrorists and eliminate terrorism no matter how many sacrifices we have to give for it,” he added. He apprehended that terrorism activities could continue in coming days.
