Gisele Bundchen’s reaction to Tom Brady’s Super Bowl loss
TrendPK.com: Last week, Gisele Bundchen’s private email was released in regard to her hoping for a Super Bowl win for her husband, Tom Brady, but it seems it didn’t work but she isn’t blaming her husband for the loss.
While Bundchen was leaving the game, a New York Giants fan reportedly commented, “Eli owns your husband,” to which Bundchen made her own comment, states TMZ. The supermodel then allegedly said to a friend, “My husband cannot f****ing throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.”
She was then later spotted hugging her husband in support.

Singer Madonna dazzles in Super Bowl half-time show

INDIANAPOLIS: Madonna dazzled the Super Bowl crowd with a high-octane half-time show that started with an army of Roman gladiators and ended with plea for world peace written in lights.
The glittering 12-minute performance at Lucas Oil Stadium featuring several guest stars had legions of fans racing to Twitter to give their thumbs-up, with some going so far as to declare it one of the best in Super Bowl history.
“Now THAT was a halftime show!” said @michaelsette7 of Toronto in a typical tweet of approval. “All hail the queen. Bow down everyone, bow down!”
Entertainment Weekly critic Ken Tucker agreed, calling Madonna’s performance “joyous, unironic, open-hearted … She was both in full command and full of generosity towards her massive audience.”
With a new album titled “MDNA” out March 26, the 53-year-old Madonna teamed up with choreographer Jamie King and Canada’s Cirque de Soleil for the most-watched musical interlude of any major sporting event in the world.
Her challenge was to redeem last year’s dismal showing by the Black Eyed Peas, whose futuristic performance failed to impress spectators already put out by Christina Aguilera botching the lyrics of the US national anthem.
With muscular spear-wielding gladiators in gold marching onto the field, Madonna — styling herself as a Roman empress with a diamond-studded crown and kinky thigh-high boots — kicked off the show with her 1990 dance hit “Vogue.”
She then shifted into hip-hop mode, bringing out breakdancers — and an impressive tight-rope walker — for “Music” from 2008, accompanied by electro duo LMFAO who sampled their 2011 hit “Sexy and I Know It.”
Rap queen Nicki Minaj and irreverent M.I.A. then joined Madonna for the just-released “Give Me All Your Luvin” set to a “Glee”-like cheerleader theme, complete with golden pom-poms and marching band.
In a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment, M.I.A. — real name, Mathangi “Maya” Arulpragasam — flipped a middle finger to the camera while singing a four-letter word that is part of “Luvin”‘s original lyrics.
The image on the screen then scrambled just as briefly, suggesting that NBC television — the official broadcaster of this year’s Super Bowl — was caught off-guard.
For the finale, Madonna rolled out her 1989 hit “Like A Prayer” with crooner Cee-Lo Green, a black-robed gospel choir and the stadium illuminated with thousands of tiny lights, concluding with the words “world peace” set against the darkness of the field — and Madonna disappearing in a puff of smoke.
Half-time at the Super Bowl has been one of the most coveted gigs in American pop music since the late Michael Jackson performed with a 3,500-child choir in 1993, but hit a bump with his sister Janet Jackson’s infamous “wardrobe malfunction” in 2004.
“This is a Midwestern girl’s dream to be performing at the half-time show,” said Madonna, a Michigan native, prior to Sunday’s show.
Performing the national anthem before kickoff was “American Idol” winner Kelly Clarkson, with country stars Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert adding to the patriotic mood with a duet version of “America the Beautiful.” AGENCIES

Christina Aguilera has spoken out about her performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” at Sundays Super Bowl in Arlington, Texas. She repeated a line and also fumbled a few other words of the Anthem. Christina has made a statement to the Associated Press.
“I got so caught up in the moment of the song that I lost my place,” Christina also said in her statement “I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of it’s sic anthem still came through.”
Overall, it was a spectacular evening’s entertainment and the much anticipated break time commercials didn’t disappoint either. A commercial for Best Buy featured the unlikely pairing of Justin Bieber and Ozzy Osbourne. But let’s not forget what the night really was all about. This year the Super Bowl was won by the Green Bay Packers.

The upward creep of her late-period celebrity reached its zenith this year with a Super Bowl Snickers commercial (also featuring fellow octogenarian and subject of youthful fascination Abe Vigoda) and her hosting last night of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” (musical guest: Jay-Z), which continues to be a locus of new-generation humor in spite of its often draggy pace and tendency to make even good ideas outlast their welcome. That the appearance was inspired by a Facebook-based campaign is just further proof that White is, to mix social-network terms, a trending topic. (“Needless to say, we didn’t have Facebook when I was growing up,” she said in her opening monologue. “We had phone books, but you wouldn’t waste an afternoon on them.”)
Still, she is not the first little old lady to host “SNL,” though, at 88, she is the oldest — breaking the record set in 1977 by 80-year-old “Anyone Can Host” contest-winner Miskel Spillman, who herself barely edged out “Harold and Maude” star Ruth Gordon for the title. Spillman’s appearance included a bit in which she smoked marijuana with John Belushi; Gordon, born in 1896 and the age’s sparky senior of choice, appeared in a routine called “Little Old Ladies of the Night,” in which she was mistaken for a prostitute. (The elderly have been thought cute before.)
Indeed, the most common way to have fun with old people on TV or in film is to have them act as if they were young people. Making them talk about sex or swear, or take drugs, or use language they’re the wrong age to use is an easy laugh that contemporary comedy writers do not seem able to resist or improve upon, or think up alternatives to. (In an earlier generation, it was hilarious enough just to put them on a motorcycle or a surfboard.)
She was ultimate in the naughty stuff and it is likely that White would soon return to host the show again. But White is in demand these days and it might stop her from gracing the show once again.

Super Bowl champions New Orleans Saints will kick off the 2010 NFL season at home to the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday, September 9 in a re-match of last season’s NFC title game.
The Superdome clash opens a 17-week, 256-game regular season that will feature more divisional meetings in the closing weeks in an effort to create an exciting play-off race.
The regular season concludes Sunday, January 2 with all 16 contests being division games.
New stadium
The opening weekend will also see the Dallas Cowboys travel to the Washington Redskins on Sunday (Sep 12) night as well as two matches at the new Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford.
On Sunday (Sep 12), the New York Giants face the Carolina Panthers in the first regular-season game at the stadium.
A day later, the New York Jets will meet the Baltimore Ravens in the first Monday nighter.
The first Monday night will also feature a second game with the Kansas City Chiefs hosting the San Diego Chargers, showcasing the renovation of Arrowhead Stadium.
In the final three weeks of the season, there will be a total of 28 division match-ups, an increase of 15 on last year.
Wembley date
The NFL also has two games scheduled for outside of the United States, including one at Wembley in London between the San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos on October 31.
On November 7, the Buffalo Bills will venture north to Canada for the third consecutive season when they host the Chicago Bears in Toronto’s Rogers Centre.
Thanksgiving Day will feature a triple-header, with the early game sending the New England Patriots to Detroit to face the Lions, followed by the Saints visiting the Cowboys.
The holiday feast concludes with the Jets welcoming the Cincinnati Bengals.

It seems that Lance Lohan has hit the bull’s eye. The 23-year-old USC graduate had opened a website for all those college goers who love to gossip and there is no denying of the fact that the popularity of the website is growing every day. 
Thousands of Americans are discussing or rather gossip mongering online and according to reports it has become one of the most visited licentious places where one can get not only to read some of the hottest gossips that are doing the rounds in the campus but also some juicy campus videos and photos of the persons involved.
The website provides freedom to its user to create contents. The contents can be related to anybody and everybody. While the website was launched with an aim to provide opportunity to college buddies to discuss their college life and also share their experiences with each other, it has turned out that the users have found out some other uses of the website. Some sources allege that the website has now turned into a place for sexting and contains maximum sexual content. However, the website does not allow uploading of photos of minors.

The AFC East is getting yet another high-profile receiver.
The Broncos agreed to trade Pro Bowler Brandon Marshall to the Dolphins, ESPN, the Denver Post and NFL.com reported. The Dolphins will surrender two second-round picks (including the 43rd overall selection in next week’s draft).
Marshall was a restricted free agent who signed his contract tender on Tuesday. That cleared the way for the Broncos to trade him.
ESPN said Marshall is expected to sign a contract extension that will be among the largest in league history.
If completed, Marshall will be the second big-name receiver to join the AFC East this week. The Jets acquired Santonio Holmes, the MVP of Super Bowl XLIII, from Pittsburgh on Sunday.
Marshall’s tenure in Denver was marked by controversy. The team suspended him during the preseason last year after he acted inappropriately at a preseason workout.
He has made the Pro Bowl the past two years and has caught at least 101 passes in each of the past three seasons. — Sean Leahy
