Gunmen torch 19 NATO oil tankers in Mastung

MASTUNG: Suspected militants attacked a convoy of tankers carrying fuel supplies for coalition forces in Afghanistan, torching 19 vehicles.
The attack took place on Sibi-Quetta Highway in Mastung District of Balochistan.
Fire brigade teams were brought to Mastung from Quetta to extinguish the blaze that could be seen several kilometers away.
Security forces reached the scene and cordoned off the area.
No loss of life was reported in the attack. TrendPK
London: Sketch of Dr. Imrans killer released
Scotland Yard has released the sketch of the suspected killer of MQM member Dr. Imran Farooq.
The sketch released by the London police clearly shows that the suspected killer is Asian and his age is between 20 to 30 years. He seems to be a skinny person with a height of 5ft. 4inches and also has stubble with black hair. London police is also in search of another suspected killer who is aged around 30 years and his height is about 5ft. 9 inches to 5ft. 11inches. Police claims that information about this person is being collected from various sources.
On the other side, Altaf Hussain met and condoled to Dr. Imrans family in London. At this occasion, Deputy Convener of MQMs Rabita Committee Dr. Farooq Sattar and other members were also present. Altaf Hussain condoled with Dr. Imrans father, Farooq Ahmad, mother, wife and other family members. He also said that Dr. Imrans death is simply an irreplaceable loss for all of us.

KARACHI: Hundreds of angry people held a demonstration in Manzoor Colony to lodge their protest against the murder of a young girl.
Unknown gunmen had shot and killed 19-year-old Qurat ul Ain outside his house in Manzoor Colony on Thursday.
Police has so far failed to nab the suspected assailants.
Family of the murdered girl and residents of Manzoor Colony staged a protest and called for immediate arrest of the suspects.
On receiving information about the protest, police and rangers restored to baton charge and shelling to disperse the protestors. Trend Pk
Sketch of Dr Imran’s killer released

LONDON: Scotland Yard has released the sketch of one of the suspected killers of Dr Imran Farooq, a senior leader of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), on the date when Dr Imran’s body is being sent to Pakistan for funerals.
London police said that the killer look like an Asian origin and his age is between 20 to 30 years. His height is between five feet four inches to five feet six inches. The killer’s hairs are black.
The police are also in search of another Asian man who is about 30 years old. Trend Pk
8 martyred in Pak Patan explosion

PAK PATAN: At least eight people have been martyred and 14 others wounded as explosion took place at the shrine of Hazrat Baba Fareed on Monday morning.
The blast occurred immediately after Fajr prayer. The authorities closed the shrine for visitors soon after the explosion.
Four women were also included among those victims who lost their lives. One wall of shrine destroyed in the explosion.
According to the initial reports, two men left a motorcycle at the back door of the shrine and the explosion took place after six to seven minutes of their departure from the spot.
Eyewitnesses have informed that both of the suspected men were of 28 to 30 years old.
Several people were present on the scene when deadly explosion occurred in the shrine. SAMAA
Police gets 14-day remand of target killing suspects

KARACHI: Karachi Police on Saturday obtained judicial remand of four suspected target killers for a period of 14 days.
Police produced the suspects, Bilal, Asad, Rafiq and Babar, before a Karachi Central court and sought a two-week remand for interrogation.
The court accepted the request and put off the hearing for 14 days. SAMAA
Lakki Marwat: Police foils suicide attack, 15 hurt
Police killed a suicide bomber and destroyed an explosive-filled vehicle in Jabukhel area of Laki Marwat, Dunya News reported on Monday.
Some 15 people also got injured during police action.
According to police sources, there was information that a double-cabin may enter the city for suicide bombing. On the tip-off, police were put on guard since morning with pickets erected on various places to stop any such vehicle. According to police sources, a police beckoned an explosive-packed vehicle to stop at a check point in Jabukhel area; however, driver did not stop. To stop the suspected vehicle, police opened fire, causing the explosives on board vehicle to go off with a loud bang, killing the suicide bomber as well. As a result of the loud explosion, at least six houses caved in, where 15 including eight women and four kids were injured.The blast caused a four-foot deep and 20-foot wide crater. Later on, all entry and exit points of the city have been closed.

MIRANSHAH: US missile strikes killed four suspected militants in North Waziristan tribal region on Tuesday.
According to security sources, four missiles were fired on a vehicle carrying militants outside Miranshah.
Four people were killed in the attack.
