Reliance Big Pictures appoints Sameer Chopra

Reliance Big Pictures has appointed Sameer Chopra as Head Marketing. Sameer has more than twelve years overall experience inclusive of five years of experience in the film industry. He is responsible for spearheading marketing campaigns of films ranging from HANUMAN, MALAMAAL WEEKLY, SINGH IS KINNG, GHAJINI, LIFE PARTNER and ROAD MOVIE.

Prior to joining Reliance Big Pictures, Sameer was leading the marketing team for the last two-and-a-half years at Studio 18 that set newer marketing benchmarks in the industry. He has worked very closely with key industry talent during his tenure in the industry. Sameer will be reporting to Priti Shahani, Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer at Reliance Big Pictures.

Pakistan never opposed drone attacks: Lord Nazir

Member of British House of Lords, Lord Nazir said that he was told by US officials that Pakistani government has never opposed drone attacks.
Addressing Meet the Press at National Press Club Islamabad, Lord Nazir said that US President Barack Obama is visiting India on 7th November 2010. During his visit, US President will also announce to support India for becoming a permanent member of Security Council which is a big challenge for Pakistan. He also said that government officials keep saying that they will complete the tenure but the question is that what are they going to actually do for nation if they complete the tenure. Lord Nazir said that Pervez Mushrraf is mentally unstable so he must be forgiven now. I have many evidences and witnesses against Pervez Musharraf but these witnesses have denied to say anything due to pressure of some unknown influences.

Budget to widen rich, poor gap: PPP member

ISLAMABAD: A member National Assembly belonged to treasury benches strongly criticized the budget during a budget session.

Treasury member Naseem Chaudhry said it is matter of shame that during the tenure of a party, which raised slogan of ‘Roti, kapra aur Makan’, inflation has been increased sharply.

She said budget will increase the gap between rich and poor and said masses should be taken into confidence before borrowing loans from IMF.
