Imran Khan becomes the new Mills & Boons hero

Remember the perfect plot of all the Mills and Boons books that girls have literally grown up reading? The one where the good looking guy, a complete cynic on the subject of love, finds a hopeless romantic girl and ironically falls in love with her. It was believed to be the perfect dope for the readers of mushy novels.
No wonder then, that the publishing house saw potential in the Dharma Production’s next I Hate Luv Storys as they felt that Imran’s character in the film fits the M&B prototype to the T.
The publishing house Harlequin Mills & Boon and Dharma Productions have therefore tied up to come up with a special series of eight books. The books will have the cover of I Hate Luv Storys and will have the story of the characters of the film where Imran is the typical non believer of love.
Seems like a lot many young girls are going to sleep, dreaming about this new burgeoning Khan.

Raajneeti, writer-director Prakash Jha’s sprawling portrait of a political family, is a mixed bag. The film has moments of ferocious power and just as many flaws.
The narrative has a propulsive movement in the first half but becomes dramatically inert in the second. Jha, who has fought elections in Bihar himself, creates a real sense of the machinations and sordid deals that fuel politics but then hobbles it with outlandish twists and some decidedly ‘filmy’ moments – like a ridiculous love-making scene that is triggered because the characters get wet in the rain.
Apparently getting soaked in Bollywood still equals sex. And, as almost all the female characters in this film find out, having sex even one time, still equals babies.

The performances are strong—especially Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Nana Patekar—but the characters are largely one-note.
There has been much hype about Katrina Kaif learning lengthy Hindi dialogue for the film. She’s clearly worked hard but her luminous looks rather than acting are still her trump card.
Raajneeti is a film with ambition and scale but it works in fits and spurts. Jha’s political epic is too busy and bumpy and never quite fulfils the potential inherent in the story.
Raajneeti sources as much from The Godfather as it does from the Mahabharata. So we have sets of cousins whose rivalry spills into the open as soon as the head of the family suffers a stroke.
The film begins with a back-story of Sooraj Kumar, the Karna-like figure played by Ajay Devgn. Abandoned at birth, Sooraj is adopted by a Dalit family.
In quick succession, so many characters are introduced that Jha uses a voice-over to explain who is connected to whom and what the political affiliations are. It takes a good 15 minutes to take in the details and place the characters but the story-telling is engaging and soon you’re caught up with this Machiavellian family in which the plotting begins even as the father is still being treated by doctors. As the stakes get higher, the moves get bloodier.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction video game is coming next week in the U.S. This is the sixth sequel in the series and promised to be a more enticing one.
Splinter Cell is a series of video games devised by American author Tom Clancy. The series is well known for its character Sam Fisher, which is a highly-trained agent of a black-ops sub-division within the NSA, called ‘Third Echelon’.
Splinter Cell is licensed to Ubisoft to make the games. JT Petty of Ubisoft has created the characters of the game as well as ‘Third Echelon’.
Splinter Cell: Conviction is more action orientated than the previous sequels. There are so many features that can help you to smash on your enemy. There is the new ‘mark and execute’ feature that allows you to crush the enemy in one shot. A number of Gears of War/Mass Effect 2 style combat strategies are there too.
The AI is looking fine here also. The whole plot is created by the facial animation graphics, though a little bit poor in quality. The characters have been put with quite a good number of emotions like ‘anger’ to provide a good presentation throughout. The game is playable in single player format. However, the multiplayer option could be the turning point for the Conviction to gain mass attraction.
Robert De Niro Wife
Robert De Niro Wife, Not many people have attempted to manipulate Robert De Niro (or the characters he plays, rather) and succeeded. In fact, has anyone even tried to manipulate De Niro at all? With his creepy laughs and intimidating demeanor, I wouldn’t want to have dinner with the dude, much less try to make him the butt of a diabolical plan. But that’s what Ed Norton is up to.
According to Variety, Overture Films has picked up US distribution rights to Stone, a new film starring Robert De Niro, Edward Norton, and Milla Jovovich. The film will have Norton playing a convicted arsonist who attempts to manipulate his parole officer in order to ensure his parole. How does he do that? By offering up his super hot wife of course, played by Jovovich. The film is directed by John Curran and written by Junebug’s Angus MacLachlan.
This sounds like a mildly interesting thriller, and it’ll be interesting to see how De Niro and Norton play off each other, but De Niro’s been off his badass game lately. He’s at his weakest. Norton may be able to take the big guy down.
