Lisa Ray will feature as Kabir Bedi’s daughter in play titled Taj
Indo-Canadian actor Lisa Ray is ready for her first acting assignment after being treated for multiple myeloma, an incurable cancer of white blood cells that affects the bone marrow.
She will be acting in a play called Taj, alongside Kabir Bedi, in which she will be playing Jahan Ara, the daughter of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and the latter will be essaying the role of Shah Jahan.
Kabir Bedi had earlier played the role of Shah Jahan in Akbar Khan’s Taj Mahal.
Ray, who was announced cancer free in April last year, after following radical stem cell therapy treatment, expressed her happiness about returning to acting.
Taj will be staged in Toronto on 10 June, 2011.

KARACHI: A prominent, vocal Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Marvi Memon has said that Dr. Aafia is an alleged Al Qaeda and CIA agent; till she is proven innocent in Pakistani courts, she can not be called as the daughter of Pakistan or a national hero.
Marvi, talking to SAMAA, has said that the reality about Dr. Aafia is being hidden and all political leaders and government representatives are trying to gain political mileage and applause from the people by expressing popular sentiments about her.
She added that she and many others did not participate in the parliamentarians’ walk out staged on Monday, so it can not be called as an unanimous walk out in favor of Dr. Aafia. She continued to say that she has the courage to speak her heart out, while others who avoided the walk are afraid of people’s anger and have chosen to remain

Dillon Baxter made everything a junior in 2008 for San Diego, California. His height is 5 feet 11 inches and weight is 187 lbs. Dillon Baxter may have already pulled out one of the best run we will see in this upcoming College Football season. He scored 17 touchdowns as a freshman playing varsity at San Diego Mission Bay in 2007.
Baxter was nominated for a High School Army All-American and was a consensus five-star prospect on both Scout.com and Rivals.com.

DNA proves girl as Aafia’s daughter: Malik
ISLAMABAD: The baby girl found from outside the house of Dr Fauzia, turned out to be the daughter of Dr Aafia Siddiqui, detained in US on alleged terror charges, Geo News reported Saturday.
Talking to media, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik revealed that the DNA test proved that the child is the daughter of Dr Aafia.
Rehman Malik said Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani will hold negotiations over issue relating the repatriation of Dr Aafia.
On this occasion, Dr Aafia’s daughter Fatima was accompanied with her cousin Aalia and Dr Fauzia.
