NEW DELHI: Maoist rebels killed 20-30 paramilitary police in a raid on a security camp in central India on Tuesday, television and news agency reports said.
The local news channel said 30 members of the Central Reserve Police Force had been killed in fighting in the Maoist hotbed of Dantewada district in the state of Chhattisgarh. The Indian official news agency put the death toll at 20.
