Forces kill key Taliban commander in Buner

BUNER: Security forces on Sunday killed a key Taliban commander and his two accomplices in Buner District.

The dead Taliban commander, Naseebzada, was wanted by security forces in several acts of terrorism.

According to sources, an exchange of fire took place between army troops and Taliban militants in hilly area of Pir Baba.

In Lower Orakzai, troops pounded militant hideouts, killing two terrorists and arresting two others.

Terrorists were holed up in Lower Orakzai Agency and wanted to carry out terrorism. However, they were spotted by the forces during a search operation. SAMAA

Forces kill 15 extremists in Orakzai

PESHAWAR: At least 15 extremists were killed in security forces’ operation in various areas of Upper Orakzai Agency, Geo News reported

According to security sources, the forces’ operation is underway in different parts of Orakzai Agency.

Today, various suspected hideouts in Baliana, Torask and Torsamt were pounded in the fresh action by the forces, where at least 15 extremists were killed and five others injured.

Also, at least four hideouts of the extremists were destroyed.

Search operation is underway in the area as well and the suspected vehicles and individuals are being thoroughly searched.

ANKARA: Kurdish rebels attacked a military outpost near the Iraqi border early on Saturday, sparking clashes in which at least eight soldiers and 12 Kurdish rebel fighters were killed, the military said.

KALAYA: Security forces in a clash in Orakzai region killed four militants as the forces campaign against militants continued in the region.

4 Militants killed in Malakand Raid

MALAKAND, Pakistan News: Four militants were killed in security forces operation in Halai area of Malakand on Tuesday. In a search operation in Koza Banday the forces detained more than 100 suspects.

The troops on a tip off presence of the militants at a hillock of Halai, cordoned off the hill. The militants opened fierce firing at the forces and four of them were killed in counter attack.

The troops also captured large quantity of munitions in the raid.

Clash Accured In North Waziristan Fifteen Militants Killed

MIRANSHAH: A security man was killed and 11 others were injured in a rocket attack at a camp of the forces in Razmik area of North Waziristan tribal region.

In the forces counter attack 15 militants were reportedly killed.

The fleeing attackers took the dead bodies of some of their accomplices while the troops taken remaining corpses in their custody.
