Ahana Deol all set to make her Bollywood debut
It was something that was waiting to happen! Ahana Deol, Dharmendra and Hema Malini younger daughter has finally decided to take the plunge in Bollywood.
If things go well, Ahana will be seen making her debut in Vikramaditya Motwane’s next directorial venture. Vikram confirmed that he has given Ahana the script which she is reading it and that he would want to cast her in his film.
Now with Ahana all set to enter Bollywood, the Deol family might just give the industry a new superstar.
Why wasn’t Ash present for the ‘K.B.C.’ episode?
Imagine a show hosted by Amitabh Bachchan and featuring the star cast of ACTION REPLAYY. You’d expect Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to be a part of it, right? But Ash, who teams up with Akshay in ACTION REPLAYY, was absent for the KAUN BANEGA CROREPATI – ACTION REPLAYY episode. Rumours doing the rounds of the industry indicate that Ash didn’t want to be a part of the episode because the proceeds would be donated to a particular charitable trust. But Vipul Shah denies it, “It has been decided by the family Bachchans that neither Abhishek nor Ash would participate in K.B.C. Reason being people would assume that the presence of Bachchan Sr. as the host prompted them to win the booty. That’s why Ash didn’t participate for that particular episode.” Valid point!

Hrithik makes cameo in Main Krishna Hoon
It’s called “The jungle”, “dog-eat-dog world”, “rat race” and what not. The truth is Bollywood is all this and yet it is also a world where goodwill, hard-work and sincerity is something that has its value. Shows in the way Hrithik Roshan, who has quite a bit of clout in the industry, has gone out of his way for his spot boy Nandan Mahato.
Nandan who has produced few Bhojpuri films is making his first Hindi film Main Krishna Hoon, a 3-D animation-cum-live action film. And none other than Hrithik has given him the green signal. Nandan started out in the industry as Juhi Chawla’s spot boy, but after she got married, Nandan joined Hrithik’s staff and was with him for almost 10 years starting from Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai.
Therefore when he wanted to make a Hindi film, he approached Roshan Jr. who was more than encouraging. Hrithik even flew down to Hyderabad to shoot for the film and didn’t even think of charging Mahato for it. Not only Hrithik but even Juhi has shot for the film. Katrina Kaif’s hairdresser Pomilla, who is the co-producer of the film, has even managed to get Katrina to do an appearance.
So much for the starry tantrums that we keep hearing about Bollywood stars, Katrina, Juhi and Hrithik have decided to be part of this film only because of the sincerity and goodwill that Nandan and Pomilla have earned over the years.
Is ‘Blue’ director making his next with Akshay?
Rumours doing the rounds of the industry claim the director of BLUE, Anthony D’Souza, is planning to make an action film next, with Akshay Kumar heading the star cast of this film. Reportedly titled TAK DHANA DHAN, the film in question will be produced by Fox. But Tony as Anthony is affectionately called denies the rumour outright.
“I haven’t signed with any production house yet,” Tony clarifies, “I have merely signed a letter of intent with Fox to work on a project. I am still scripting my next film and a long way off from completing the script and thinking of actors.” Tony also denies that the film is called TAK DHANA DHAN “haven’t thought of the title yet”, but he does confirm that the film will be an action fare.
CMs security claims life of a newborn
Spokesman of Punjab Government Pervez Rashid has said that CCTV footage clearly shows that nobody stopped the parents of the newborn.
While talking to media in Lahore Senator Pervez Rashid said that I have seen in the CCTV footage that no delay was made in medical treatment of the child and Chief Minister reached the hospital after 20 minute of the incident.
CCTV footage is not proving the said claims and if they are right with evidences then culprits would not be spared.
earlier strict security in Children Hospital during Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharifs visit, took the life of an infant, Dunya News reported Monday.The father of the child was not allowed to enter in the hospital due to security measures taken for Punjab Chief Minister, resultantly the child died due to lack of oxygen.
Meantime, according to spokesman of the government of Punjab, the Punjab CM ordered an inquiry into the death of child at Children Hospital.
Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah while talking to Dunya News said that an inquiry will be held for this incident and action will be taken against responsible.
Manchhar Lake rises flooding several villages
Manchhar Lake rose up to 118 feet just short of two feet short from its maximum capacity, Dunya News reported Monday. Situation is getting worse as in and out of flood water became unbalanced due to huge pressure with water pouring from different canals.A state of emergency has been announced at the Lake with senior officers from the Irrigation Department stationed to inspect it.

Turkish PM hails referendum approval as turning point for democracy
Turkish voters strongly backed constitutional reforms on Sunday, handing a government led by conservative Muslims a new victory in a power struggle with secular opponents over the countrys direction. September 12 will go down in history as a turning point in Turkish democracy, Prime Minister Tayyab Erdogan told followers as he declared victory.
According to the analysts the outcome is a huge boost for Erdogan ahead of a general election due by July next year. According to analysts, The YES vote which came out of the referendum today is the result of the public’s aspiration for democracy.
Meanwhile, according to an unofficial tally, the government won backing for its package of 26 articles with a Yes vote of 58 percent, with 99 percent of ballot boxes counted. While the outcome will be greeted by investors as a sign of confidence in a government credited with bringing in record foreign investment and managing strong economic growth, it will reinforce ideological divisions in the deeply polarized country.
Erdogan said Turkey had passed a historic threshold by voting to change a charter written after a coup in 1980. The military has ousted four democratically elected governments.
September 12, which was tainted with a constitution of a coup, has turned into a bright page, with this referendum, and a milestone for democracy, he said.
Qadirpur plant annual repair: Punjab to face more gas holidays
Gas supply to the industrial areas of Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa has been suspended while CNG stations would also be closed down for 3 days. According to the sources, the closure of Qadirpur gas field will cause a gas shortage, in view of the situation; the SNGPL has decided to cut off supplies to the industry for five days from Sept 13-17 and to the CNG sector for three days on Sept 14, 15 and 18. The CNG filling station owners have protested against the decision, saying it would hurt their business.
