Peshawar:- Explosion in Peshawar mosque reported by trendpk.Com.

2 killed, 10 injured in blast 2 people heve been killed while 10 were injured in the blast inside a mosque in Pushtkhara, Peshawar on Friday.

According to the initial reports, several people had been offering the Juma prayer when the blast occurred. The nature of the blast is yet to be confirmed. Police and rescue teams have reached the place and started the relief activities. The injured are being shifted to the nearby hospital.

Sher Ali vows verification of govt employees’ degrees

ISLAMABAD: Abid Ali, Chairman of National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Education announced that degrees of all government employees of grade 17 and above, would be verified in a bid to purge the country of people having fake degrees, Geo News reported Thursday.

Talking from Britain via telephone, he said degrees of all government employees including civil servants, doctors, engineers, National Assembly officials and educationists would be subjected to verification process.

Abid Sher Ali said the judiciary has been left on its own to vet degrees of their workers; however, Defence Ministry would be written about the verification of personnel of armed forces.

The NA body chief said Higher Education Commission (HEC) will compile a report on fake degrees by July 18 and 19; the degrees verification would be double-checked.

He continued if a university declares a fake degree as original, its Vice Chancellor and Registrar would be imprisoned for fraudulent behaviour.

15 hurt in Mingora blast

MINGORA: At least 15 people have been injured in a huge blast in Mingora area of Swat, Geo News reported Thursday.

According to the initial report poured from the blast site, the blast occurred at the central bus stand of the city, which is at the time is usually a crowded place.

The injured are being rushed to hospital in Saidu Sharif. Most of the injured are in critical condition. The relief activities are in progress at the blast site.

The blast was massive that at least eight vehicles were damaged.
