First train brings Muzaffargarh affectees to Multan
MULTAN: The administration of Muzaffargarh issued warning for city’s evacuation, as water in city’s Ring Canal surged to a dangerous level, Geo News reported Monday.
The first train brought the affectees of Muzaffargarh to Multan.
Earlier today in Muzaffargarh, the announcements were made from mosques urging the residents to evacuate the area. People in large number comprising women, children and the elderly came out on roads with the necessary goods and set out towards safe locations including Multan.
A large portion of these affectees consists of the ones who arrived here from flood-bogged down South Punjab areas including Layyah, Gujrat and Kot Addu; but, the devastations followed in their footsteps forcing them to leave their area once again.
Banks are closed in the city. Petrol and diesel have run short giving rise to people’s hardships.
KP budget on Saturday
PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Finance Engineer Muhammad Humayun Khan would present the Provincial budget for the year 2010-11 on June 12 (Saturday) at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
All the necessary arrangements in this connection have been made said a press release issued here on Friday.

John Fogerty, John Fogerty Bio: Now that it has revised the Rootsy country rock and soil at the beginning of his first day back to Creedence Clearwater Revival on “The Blue Ridge Ranger Rides Again“, John Fogerty says he’s ready to start sound like, well.
“I really feel that the next recording project, probably will surely rock and roll ‘and my traditional rock’ n ‘roll sound environment. “That is something I do best and that’s certainly what I am most familiar, and as a child that is what happened most of my time doing.”
Fogerty, says it is working on the newest material in the vein of 2007 the “renaissance” and his other solo albums, adding that writing is part of the normal course of his life. “I play the guitar every day … about three hours. I’m always trying to improve,” he explains. “Having a guitar in his hands all the time causes the music. It triggers creativity and helps me write songs. So in due course, I’ll have enough songs to go and make an album and you’ll hear from me.”
John FogertyAnd when might that be? “I better not say,” says Fogerty with a laugh. “That’s like predicting the World Series or something.’d Rather not have that kind of pressure.”
Fans will be hearing much from him, meanwhile, of course. Fogerty just released a new DVD, “Comin ‘Down the Road: The concert at Royal Albert Hall”, and begins a 12 date tour Nov. 12 at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles.
Fogerty will perform on NBC’s “The Tonight Show” on 10 November and is preparing for his appearance on Saturday in “PBS” Live By Request “, which begins at 9 pm EST, with fans asking for songs and make questions through Facebook, Twitter and other social media. Original MTV VJ Mark Goodman is serving as host and moderator.

Taylor Swift Saturday Night Live, Days before the season begins its final award blessed with an appearance in the country next week Music Assn. Prizes, dear country, Taylor Swift will make a stop in New York to host “Saturday Night Live.” NBC has released Swift teasers for the show, joking that come with the necessary Kanye West.
Here’s hoping that means it is outside the system worldwide. Swift is pulling a double shift in “this weekend Saturday Night Live,” the host and musical guest.
Next Wednesday, Swift will compete for Artist of the Year at the CMA awards. The award has gone to Kenny Chesney four of the last five years, but Swift is the undisputed star of the country, 2008-2009, and Pop & Hiss would not bet against him. It set a record in Billboard this week, scoring eight cuts on the single table, the most ever in a week by a female artist.
