MQM walks out of NA against fuel price hike
National Assembly witnessed another happening day on Tuesday with MQM staged walkout against the rise in PoL prices.
A furious Sherry Rehman asked the Speaker that who sent baton-totting rogues to her house while PML-Ns Hanif Abbasi proposed mid-term polls only panacea to all the crises facing the country. Sherry said that she has never been issued any show cause by the party, adding that she has never violated the party discipline.
The session has been prorogued till 10:00am tomorrow.

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) is ‘one man show’, alleged party’s senior leader, Naheed Khan.
Naheed Khan on Thursday said that the democratic culture in PPP is no more.
“A group within the party is destroying the vision of Zulifkar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.”
She said that gap between the party workers and the government is increasing. Naheed Khan was of the view that the League platform can’t destroy PPP.
“No one can suspend the membership of the party activist. The membership of Safdar Abbasi has been suspended without prior notification,” she added.
Naheed Khan said that President Asif Ali Zardari has kept non-serious men in the Central Executive Committee of the party.
She demanded the decision in the party should be neutral. SAMAA
