LAHORE: Chief of the Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F), Pir Pagara, has said that Awami National Party (ANP) and other religious parties will not be invited to join the Muslim League.
Speaking to reporters after meeting PML leaders Ejaz ul Haq and Saleem Saifullah here on Tuesday, he said every ruler claims that his government will complete its term, but actually this does not happen.
He said every coming day is heavy for the present government. “I will soon visit Lahore,” he said.
To a question, he said Nawaz Sharif is an arrogant person, while Pervez Musharraf has nothing to do with the Muslim League. SAMAA

MUTAN: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid leader Syed Mushahid Hussain said that the President and Prime Minister houses are five star jails.

LAHORE: The government is not afraid of anyone, said Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani Saturday.
PM Gilani said that the present government, Pakistan Peoples Party, came into power after a long struggle. He said that the term of the government is for five years, asking who will unite the country if the present government is being removed.

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has demanded mid-term elections in the country, SAMAA reported Saturday.
Sidiq-ul-Farooq, the spokesperson of PML-N, while talking to SAMAA claimed his party wants a change constitutionally.

Twin Blasts in Islamabad, Death toll hits 6
The explosion in the cafeteria on the left pieces of flesh splattered on the floor and broken glass. The second attack took place in the department of Islamic law.
At least 21 injured have been taken to PIMS hospital in the federal capital, where many of them are in critical condition, authorities said. The wounded included 14 girls between the four said to be in serious condition.

The police commissioner Abdul Ghafar Quaiserani said two suicide bombers blew themselves up almost simultaneously. Both attackers were also killed, he said.
Television footage showed a woman with a bloody left leg being carried on a stretcher and a red brick building with broken windows. Its ceiling was peppered with shrapnel from the explosion.
Security forces have cordoned off the area after the blasts.

Educational Institutes in Sindh Closed Till Sunday
KARACHI, Pakistan: Educational Institutes in Sindh Closed Till Sunday, Sindh Education Department has announced to close all private and public schools in the province from 21 October until Sunday, October 25th, while universities will be closed on October 21 only.
Sindh Education Department took this decision because of security problems in the context of the present operation Rah-e-Nijat in South Waziristan.
The announcement was made by the chief secretary of Sindh after two explosions at the Islamic university cafeteria in Islamabad that killed 2 students and wounded 13 people.
