ISLAMABAD: After an increase in the prices of oils, there is a chance of an increase in the prices of petroleum products from Rs. 1.50 to Rs. 3.50 from December 1, 2010.

According to OGRA sources, there is a chance of an increase in the price of high speed diesel by Rs. 2.50 and petroleum by Rs. 1.50. There may also be an increase in light diesel by Rs. 2, and kerosene oil and HOBC by Rs. 1.50 per liter. Trend Pk

KARACHI: The Sui Southern Gas Company has asked the government for increase in the price of domestic gas. The increase is expected up to nine percent.

Sources in the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) told that the Sui Southern Gas Company’s open hearing petition would be conducted in Karachi today (Monday).

LPG price increased by Rs9.60/kg

Price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) has been increased by Rs. 9.6 per kg on Wednesday.
According to the CNG Distribution Association of Pakistan, the price of 11.8 kg cylinder has been raised by Rs 113 to Rs 1035 and 45.4 kg cylinder by Rs 436 to Rs 3,976 in the city.
Similarly, in Lahore, LPG price is Rs 103 per kg, 11.8 kg cylinder at Rs 1108 and 45.4 kg cylinder at Rs 4266. In Peshawar, LPG is now selling at Rs 108 and in FATA it is at Rs 112 per kg.

PARCO, others mount LPG price by Rs. 9,600 per ton

KARACHI: PARCO and other gas companies of the country have raised the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs. 9,600 per ton on Wednesday.

According to the CNG Distribution Association of Pakistan, the price of locally produced LPG has been increased from RS.78, 800 to Rs.89, 425 per ton.

After this latest increase of Rs. 9.60 on every kilogram, the retail price of LPG has climbed to Rs. 95 per kg.

The price of each LPG cylinder, weighing 11.80 kg, has jumped to Rs. 1,035 after an increase of Rs. 113 while the cost of a 45.4 kg’s LPG cylinder has mounted to Rs. 3,976 after an increase of Rs. 436 per cylinder. Trend Pk

Silver prices also touched highest level in countrys history.According to the Sindh Sarafa Association, local gold prices surged to Rs 43,600 per tola with an increase of Rs 450 per tola whereas, the price of 10-gram increased to Rs 37,371, up by Rs 386.
