Bagh: Nullah Mahil, Malwani in flood
AJK district Bagh was, once again, facing brunt of monsoon as Nullah Mahil and Malwani were flooded due to heavy rain. The dyke broke under the pressure of floodwater.
On the other hand, traffic was jammed due to stagnant rainwater on the site of Pidar Glacier, disconnecting the areas of Sadhan Gali, Bair Pani, Chakar, Bani Minhasan and Chikar Muzaffarabad.
Rain continued intermittently in the city.
Margalla tragedy: Search operation continues
ISLAMABAD: Search operation at the site of plane crash in Margalla continued for fourth consecutive day on Saturday.
The officials of Capital Development Authority (CDA) handed over more human remains and luggage of ill-fated passengers to hospital and city administration. The investigation teams of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and plane manufacturer company busy in collecting information and searching for black box at the site of crash.
Blast at Sargodha Imam Bargah; casualties feared
SARGODHA: Casualties are feared in a blast that has ripped through an Imam Bargah here in Sargodha block 19, Geo News reported on Sunday.
Rescue and relief activities have been kick-started at the site of the incident.
The blast occurred when preparations were being made for Namaz-e-Maghribain.
