GHOTKI: Five family members, including women and children, were gunned down inside their house in Ghotki over an old enmity, police said Friday.
The deadly attack took place in the limit of Khanpur Mehr Police Station in Maghan Kedari village of Ghotki.
According to police, armed members of Gabol clan stormed a house of their rival Mehr clan and opened indiscriminate fire, killing at least five people, including three women and a minor girl.
Police said that attack was carried out to avenge the murder of notorious robber Nazir Gabol, who was allegedly killed by members of the Mehr clan some time ago. Trend Pk

Four of a family die in roof collapse
Four people of a same family died when the roof of their house collapsed in Peshawar, Dunya News reported on Tuesday.
Roof of the house of an Afghan namely Baz Gul caved in. Resultantly, Guls wife Samina, his sister Masloofa (40), two daughters Raheela (14) and Fatima (9) died on the spot, while his daughter Ayesha (7) and a week-old son Inam received serious injuries.
Police and rescue team retrieved the bodies and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital. The locals collected money to arrange for Guls family funeral for he was quite a pauper.
Father, 2 daughters shot dead in Mardan
TAKHTBAI: A father and his two daughters were gunned down while a minor kid sustained injuries over a family feud in Takht Bhai locality in Mardan district on Saturday night, Geo news reported.
According to police sources, a marriage row of a person namely Mukhtar led to firing.
Unknown miscreants opened fire on their house late on Saturday night besides; they also hurled hand grenades at house, which resulted in immediate deaths of Mukhtar and two his daughters, witnesses told police.
Police said firing also left a minor kid wounded who was rushed to hospital for medical treatment.
Blast in Dir Bala, 3 Children Die
Pakistan News: As many as three children of a family died as a bomb detonated outside their ho use in Nangarkari, Dir Bala on Wednesday.
The deceased include two brothers and their one cousin, who went outside to graze their goats when the bomb planted outside their house went off. Resultantly, the trio died on the spot.
