BRIDGETOWN: Australia beat New Zealand by three runs to win the women”s World Twenty20 final at the Kensington Oval here on Sunday.
Victory for Australia came just hours after their men”s team lost by seven wickets to arch-rivals England in the corresponding final.
Defeat for New Zealand”s women meant they”d lost a second straight World Twenty20 final after going down to England at Lord”s last year.
