Poughkeepsie Journal,Pine Plains Central School District:With a gunman in custody, police are working to evacuate Stissing Mountain school and account for the students.
At about 11 a.m., Dutchess County Sheriff deputy Thomas Lasher announced to parents that students will be bused from the school to the town’s highway garage. They will be counted and bused back to the school.
Once all the students are back in the school, they are being told to go to their first period classroom where their teachers will take attendance to account for everyone who went to school this morning, Lasher announced.
At 11 a.m. school buses were spotted headed toward Stissing Mountain school.
American Red Cross volunteers and mental health workers are on site to provide counseling.
Earlier today, the gunman who allegedly barricaded himself in the middle school with a hostage was taken into custody, Town Supervisor Gregg Pulver said.
Multiple sources have said the man in custody is Christoper Craft, a Pine Plains resident.
Bob Hess, the middle school principal, who had been taken hostage, has been released unharmed.
At 10:15 a.m., police were working on a plan to evacuate students and reunite them with their parents, Pulver said.
The district’s Web site states the building includes grades 6 to 12. The high school enrollment is about 400 students and middle school includes about 270 students.
“We have to provide the counseling to the students who need it and figure out the best way to reunite students and parents. They are working on that,” Pulver said.
Bruce Kimball, vice president of the school’s board of education, said a lockdown drill was held Nov. 5 to practice for an emergency situation.more

Sammy Sosa Bleached,Sammy Sosa White: have become rage on the internet as his pictures in different colors and style make people give different people of him.He is a great baseball player and many people were simply shocked to find him trying to change the color of his skin and also hair.
If the rumors are true then after a few weeks or months you may find him in a different avatar altogether. He may look white within a few months time if reports prove true that he is contemplating color change.
Michael Johnson had completely changed his color over the course of the time and instead of tan black look he went on to adopt white color.
Many people say that the reason for his consistent illness may be caused by the frequent surgeries that the color change requires. From being a healthy person he started looking pale and weak in his later years.
Sammy was a great player in the nineties and the few years in the last decade as well. By the mid-1990s, Sammy had become a consistant 30-40 home run player. In 1997 he signed a four year $42.5 million dollar contract with the Cubs but the real special show began in 1998.
That year saw Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa go head-to-head to see who could hit more home runs. McGwire had the early lead but by late August, they were going back and forth. Mark McGwire hit 70 home runs that year but Sammy Sosa wasn’t that far behind with 66 and both beat Roger Maris’ long standing single season record of 63 home runs in a year.
That season proved to be one where Major League Baseball finally had something good going for itself with fans clammering to get more of McGwire and Sosa. He and Mark shared Sports Illustrated magazine’s 1998 “Sportsmen of the Year” award.
After that frenetic year, Sammy still had a lot more still left in the tank. Over the next four seasons, he did not miss a beat.
