TEHRAN: A group of ambassadors to the U.N. atomic watchdog toured an Iranian nuclear site on Saturday, state television reported, and Tehran accused the European Union of missing an historic opportunity by boycotting the visit.
Iran said the tour, which China and Russia also snubbed after being discouraged by Western officials, aimed to demonstrate the country’s transparency about its atomic program before talks with major powers set for January 21-22.
Tehran invited some ambassadors accredited to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to visit its nuclear sites. The U.S, British, French and German envoys were not asked along, while the EU declined its invitation, saying United Nations nuclear inspectors should carry out such visits.
Justin Bieber plays Santa to ailing Atlanta kids

What do Justin Bieber and Santa Claus have in common? No, it isn’t long, white facial hair and shakable bellies. It’s the fact that both go the extra mile for kids in need.
A story is breaking this Christmas Eve about Bieber’s efforts to assist children in the Atlanta area. Reportedly the pop star, at the urging of deejays at Q100, invited his fans to stuff his tour buss with toys that were donated to the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
“Within hours, the bus began to fill up with toys for the ailing children, helped by the radio station’s on air promotions and Bieber’s own publicity juggernaut: his Twitter account,” PopEater reports.
“I think that it doesn’t really matter what you do,” the pop superstar said. “As long as you’re helping other people, why not do it?”
What better message can you think to send this holiday season?

A hope for returning International Cricket in Pakistan
2011 brings up a hope for returning international cricket in Pakistan. Due to the tries of ICC task force created a hope of returning international cricket on Pakistani grounds according to which a team named World Eleven, consists of star players from all the teams will tour Pakistan and will play matches against the green shirts.
After the World Cup 2011 Pakistani team will be busy again immediately after the Mega event Pakistan have to tour West Indies. After that Pakistan will become a host of Zimbabwean cricket team. Zimbabwe is ready to come in Pakistan and rescheduling of this series is in under process between the two boards. According to the previous schedule this series was going to be held in December of the continue year but due to security reasons and Muharram-ul-Harram this series was delayed and now this series is expected in May of the next year the numbers of the matches between the Asian and African side are also not decided yet.
The main and big challenge for the Pakistan is the hosting of Sri Lanka. But the Sri Lankan cricket Board and their players did not give any clear answer about this tour weather they will come or not. It is to be remembered that Sri Lanka was the last team that toured Pakistan in February/March 2009 and due to attacks on them they cancelled the tour and returned to their home. After that Pakistan became a “no go area” for the international teams and in the result of these attacks the matches of the World Cup which were to be held in Pakistan are transferred to India and the most important country of the South Asia is not hosting any match in the Mega event and other all cricket playing Asian countries Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka are the hosts of the biggest event of cricket.
If the Sri Lanka will agree to tour Pakistan and the entire event will hold peacefully then it will give a way for the international teams to come and play on the Pakistani grounds. The returning of international cricket on Pakistan will be a major break through between Pakistan and those countries that boycotted Pakistan. But this is totally depends on Pakistani government, officials, and the relevant administration that can they provide the fool proof security to the international teams or not and can they create that environment in which the international players will play without and scariness and tension this will be a big challenge for Pakistan.

Sonam has backed out from the tour as well. Rishi Kapoor explained, “She begged off saying she didn”t have a song repertoire to stand on stage with Katrina and Priyanka.”
“We start off in the UK, US and Canada. Then after six months we”ll go for another lap of the tour. I”ve done these world tours over and over again. But for Ranbir, the world tour would be a new experience,” he added.

“We put Pakistan under pressure in both the Tests, but Pakistan performed well and their cricket is looking positive,” said Kallis after the second Test ended in a draw, leaving the two-match series at 0-0.
The first Test also ended in stalemate in Dubai last week.
