Hundered Million Announced By Prime Minister For Army Shohada Trust
ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Friday announced Rs. 100 million for Shohada Trust of Pakistan Army, and paid glowing tributes to the martyrs who rendered invaluable sacrifices of their lives for the defence of the country.
“It’s our resolve that all resources would be utilized for the security of the country, which is our priority number 1,” the Prime Minister said this in the National Assembly.
Gilani said he announced this amount as he reckoned the funds in the Shohada Trust might have been exhausted owing to the military operation in Malakand in which scores of security personnel had been martyred.
Gilani spoke highly of all the mothers and families of martyrs, whose loves ones lost their lives while protecting the motherland.
“Their blood would not be squandered and this country and nation would always remember them,” the Prime Minister added.

Kidnappers Released French Tourist In Blochistan
ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN: A French tourist kidnapped three months ago in Balochistan was released Friday by abductors. Security officials in Islamabad confirmed the release of abducted French tourist.
The 41-year-old man was kidnapped on May 23 in Talo Landi area in Dalbanden. A joint task force of Police, FC and sensitive institution was formed for his recovery; however, kidnapper freed him on Friday after three months.
