Piping hot news from tinsel town
While the online promo of ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA was launched at an event on Sunday, the theatrical trailer of this film will be included with the prints of READY. In fact, the theatrical trailer of MURDER 2 will also be integrated with the prints of this Salman starrer. That’s not all, the theatrical trailer of the much-awaited SINGHAM, starring Ajay Devgn and directed by Rohit Shetty, will be incorporated in READY as well. Are you ready for READY and the trailer of three keenly anticipated movies?
Ramgopal Varma sure works at lightning speed. The maverick film-maker has already completed the filming of his new film NOT A LOVE STORY based on a real-life episode and is aiming to release it by July-end/August. The interesting aspect is that RGV has shot the film in the same building where the shocking incident had occurred. Meanwhile, RGV has made a collage of some interesting scenes from the film, besides a volatile promo. All we can say is RGV has explosive material on hand. Incidentally, RGV has shot the film without a DoP cinematographer this time.
A screening of STANLEY KA DABBA will be organized for leading politicians in Delhi shortly.
"Patiala House is not a comedy & I didn’t want to pitch it as one" – Nikhil Advani

Nikhil Advani had a major dispute with the rest of his team over the content of the first trailer of Patiala House. The dispute caused a critical delay in getting the trailer ready to be attached to Tees Maar Khan (TMK), as per plan. Consequently, the trailer couldn’t make it to all the theatres in Mumbai.
When Nikhil Advani visited a suburban theatre to watch TMK on Friday, it wasn’t only because he wanted to check out his own film’s hero’s latest offering. Nikhil wanted to see the first trailer of his own film Patiala House that was attached to TMK.
To his shock the trailer of Patiala House was missing from the film since it couldn’t be attached in time to all the prints of TMK.
Laughs Nikhil joylessly, “All the prints of the trailers for the Dolby theatres couldn’t be ready in time. So only about 70 percent of the Dolby theatres could show the trailer of Patiala House with Tees Maar Khan. Unfortunately, I landed up in one of the theatres that didn’t have my trailer attached to the film. Can you imagine? The world saw it. I couldn’t.”
Was it a last-minute decision to peg the Patiala House trailer to TMK?
Explains Nikhil, “No no. We had decided long ago to attach our first trailer to Tees Maar Khan. Akshay is a co-producer on both projects. Since Patiala is not a comedy we decided we’d wait for the release of TMK before starting the campaign.”
Then Nikhil blurts out, “All the Dolby prints of the trailer couldn’t be ready because there was some problem over what to put in the trailer.”
Says Nikhil, “All I’ll say is, there was some dispute over the content. Patiala House is not a comedy and I didn’t want to pitch it as a comedy. My biggest compliment was when Rishi Kapoor (who plays Akshay’s father) called up to say, ‘You’ve hit a sixer with your first trailer.’”
Akshay Kumar admits Patiala House takes him into another mood away from the comic. “There is only some black humour in Patiala House. Otherwise it’s a very dramatic story of a Sikh father who thinks it’s unpatriotic of his British-Indian son to play cricket for the British team against India. Yes, there were creative differences over what the first trailer should look like. I am not just the actor on the project. I am the producer as well.”
In brief, Akshay will have his say on what goes into the trailer.
Rani’s gaalis might just create trouble for Jessica at the censor board
There’s trouble ahead for the much talked-about real-life drama No One Killed Jessica. Rani’s character of an intrepid investigative journalist chain smokes and mouths gaalis non-stop. In the trailer, Rani’s shocking use of the term ‘g..nd phat jaati’ has been managed with a beep. But if the film’s makers get down to deleting every expletive Rani’s character utters there would be huge gaps in her dialogue.
According to sources, Rani’s character’s flow of profanities is so non-stop that if the censor board decided to beep her gaalis, Rani’s dialogue soundtrack would have more beeps than words.
Laughs and protests director Rajkumar Gupta, “It’ not that bad, really. You are making it sound like a non-stop abuse binge. My film is not that. But yes, Rani’s character is very brutal and graphic in her speech. I don’t know if, as you say. Rani is the same way in real life. I didn’t know her before I shot with her. But she was thoroughly professional in mouthing squirmy words.”
While in real life Rani Mukerji is very comfortable using the ‘F’ word and ‘G’ word in English and Hindi, her co-star Vidya Balan in No One Killed Jessica is not quite the type who will mouth maa-bahen galis at the drop of an oath, no matter what the provocation. Not that Vidya is a prude. But she does mind her language. Rani is just the opposite and it shows on screen.
Now the question looming over No One Killed Jessica is, would the censor board allow Rani’s character to speak her mind so graphically? The censors are known to clamp down heavily on lurid language unless it is in a Vishal Bhardwaj film. Paradoxically, Vishal’s rustic characters are allowed to mouth maa-bahen gaalis. Jessica producers – UTV who co-produced Bharadwaj’s Kaminey are hoping that the same language in an urban context is permissible.
Says Rajkumar Gupta, “We voluntarily beeped out Rani’s expletive in the trailer because it was to be screened on the home-viewing medium. But now when we submit the film for censorship, we will go with the entire language content intact hoping the censor board would see the context and not just the hard-hitting nature of the language.”
While Rani Mukerji is said to be gung-ho about the language, Vidya Balan is apparently dreading how the dialogues would sound in a pindrop-silent theatre with dolby sound.
Says the director, “Let’s just say, both Rani and Vidya said what they had to. They were thorough professionals.”
Another area of discomfort for this controversial film would be the legal ramifications of showing real-life people, particularly the hostile witnesses in the real-life Jessica Lal murder case. Apparently, some of the key witnesses are already inquiring about the content and getting ready for legal action.
Says Rajkumar Gupta, “We’re ready for any eventuality. I made the film the way I wanted to as a mix of realism and cinematic entertainment. No One Killed Jessica is not a documentary on the Jessica Lal case. But it is about her sister’s fight for justice. And if the real-life characters recognize themselves they are welcome to react how they want.”
Or else Rani will let loose a volley of the choicest.
Laughs Gupta, “We are hoping for a U/A (parental guidance) certificate. But even if we get an Adults certificate we’re okay with it.”
Topeka Google Kansas
Early last month Mayor of Topeka, Kansas shocked the world by announcing that his city was to change the name to Google. We have been told ever since, how to best honor moving gesture. Today we are pleased to announce that from April 1st, Google officially changed our name to Topeka.

The reason is simple Topeka, Kansas. Google will be holding courses “Fiber Communities”, where the Internet giant will install the internet in secret places. The goal is that the speed Internet at this location increased to 100 times faster than other places with faster data transfer 1 gigabit per second.
Through its official announcement, Bill Bundles, Topeka Mayor announced that within a month, from 1 March 31 March city will be called Google. Google full, Kansas – the capital of fiber optics.
A change this dramatic will not happen without consequences, perhaps even with some interruptions. Here are some of the difficult issues that we hope everyone in the greater Topeka community will remember when we begin one of the most important transitions in its history:
* Correspondence well our headquarters and offices around the world should now be directed to the Topeka Inc., but otherwise treated normally.
* Google employees once known as the “Googlers” will now be classified as either “Topeka” or “Topekans,” depending on the outcome of a board meeting that the current at this time. Whatever the result, the conclusion is clear: We are not in Google anymore.
* Our new product names will take some getting used to. For example, we need to ensure users of Topeka Topeka Maps News and that these services will continue to offer news and local information from around the world. Topeka Talk, accordingly, is an instant messaging product, say a popular Midwestern morning show. And Project Virgle, our co-venture with Richard Branson, and Virgin to launch the first permanent human colony on Mars, will henceforth be known as Project Vireka.
* We do not know what to tell Oliver Google Kai’s parents, except that if you ask us, Topeka Kai Oliver would be a charming name for their little boy.
* As our remind us that brands can achieve such popularity at risk of losing their trademark status .

Cleavagefield
Cleavagefield, What is CLEAVAGEFIELD? In one word: Awesome. In more than one word, it’s a ridiculous CLOVERFIELD spoof featuring, you guessed it,
lots and lots of cleavage. And from the looks of the trailer we just posted in our video hub, lots of girl on girl action and tons of absurd silliness, the most of which is a cartoon monster reminiscent of Puff the Magic Dragon. Click through to check it out.

Alice in Wonderland Trailer latest updates :- Disney has just released a new, trailer for Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland adaptation.
There’s still plenty of Mad Hatter but, for a change, they’re cluing us in a little more on the plot. So if you’ve been wondering why the Hatter seems to be the star when he’s really just a minor character in the original Alice story, then here’s your answer: This isn’t that story. As rumored previously, the trailer confirms that his is more like a sequel then a new adaptation. In this Return to Wonderland, instead going home, Alice straps on a suit of armor and going to war.

Is The Fourth Kind Real
Is The Fourth Kind Real, I am a bubble burster, have always been. My first experience with the fourth type is written to the trailer SciFiSquad with the Bullet “Trailer for ‘The power of the fourth kind” be lying to you. “I have no innate rancor against the film, but I realize that we live in 2009, and I’m surrounded by Interweb magic enabled devices that can tell me whether or not I believe in a film that purports to be “based on actual case studies.” Immediately after seeing the trailer headed for confirmation the existence or otherwise of their claims about alien abductions in Nome, Alaska had no basis in this world. I found nothing.
However, I have seen since the fourth level, and I can tell it is most fascinating. Not because the film is, in fact, indeed, but by how willfully delusional is in focus. It is interesting that people assume I remember The Blair Witch Project and paranormal activity both sold themselves as “real images”, because none did. Both player, with the conventions of first person perspective to create an illusion of truth. The fourth type is not content with that ploy linear, however. It not only contains the same trick found footage “as the two films, but is intended that the material is real. It has its hottest stars, literally walk to the camera and tell us that the film is unadulterated truth.
