ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Turkish PM Meets PM Gilani, Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan held talks with Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani at Prime Minister House here on Sunday.

Turkish Prime Minister, who was accompanied by his wife Emine Erdogan, cabinet members, parliamentarians and senior government officials, arrived late Saturday in a three-day official visit to hold bilateral meetings and implement the CEO Forum of Pakistani and Turkish businessmen.

Gilani and Prime Minister Erdogan held also discussed the regional situation and the role of Pakistan and Turkey to curb militancy in the region.

Turkish Prime Minister will also call on the President and meet the President of the Senate and the President of the National Assembly. Also address a joint session of Parliament. Two memoranda of understanding is likely to be signed during the visit.
