President Zardari calls Ahmadinejad
ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari called Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Saturday.
According to the president’s spokesperson, two leaders discussed on Pak-Iran ties, economic cooperation and regional situation.

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday telephoned PML-N leader Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif and exchanged Eid greetings with him.
The President also condoled with PML-N chief at the sad demise of his uncle Mian Miraj Din, and prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul.
The two leaders also agreed upon the need to work together to strengthen democracy and the democratic institutions. Trend Pk
Tehran: Assad meets Ahmadinejad
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad met in Tehran and discussed bilateral relations, including investment, development and increasing trade between the two countries.
The two leaders also expressed their support for the formation of an Iraqi national unity government that represents all Iraqis, and Ahmadinejad briefed Assad on developments related to Irans nuclear programme, the report added.
