Soren Kjeldsen, Edorado Molinari and David Toms all held the lead at two under at the halfway point of the opening round of the US Open Golf Tournament 2010.

Mickelson had a hard time finding his placement early on in the going, but appeared to pick things up a little bit as the day went on. Padraig Harrington was able to get under par at one point, but ended up falling back four strokes to above par before the day was over. At eleven holes into the match, Mickelson was still three over par with no hope in sight for turning the day around.
