Woman claims shes vampire
A woman accused of having lured a teenage boy to a house where a group beat him to death says that she is a vampire.
“I know this is going to be crazy, but I believe that I’m a vampire. Part of a vampire and part of a werewolf,” 18-year-old Stephanie Pistey said. Apparently, Pistey confirmed to police that the five people including herself involved in the July murder of Jacob Hendershot, 16, near the panhandle city, were members of a vampire cult.
Pistey, who was arrested last Monday on charges of having fooled the boy into coming to the house where he was murdered, said in an interview that “Jacob didn’t deserve to die” and that she did not know that the others were going to beat him to death. At first, police thought that Hendershot was killed because Pistey had accused him of rape, but now the motives for the murder are not clear.
She denied drinking Hendershot’s blood, but she said that she had drunk the blood of her boyfriend.
Colin Firth Signs Up For New Vampire Movie
Just when you thought the latest wave of vampire movies and TV series had reached saturation point there comes another movie to add to the list. It’s called “Stoker” and it will be the first American film for “Oldboy” Korean director Park Chan-Wook. So far the film has a very promising cast, it has been reported that Oscar winner Colin Firth has signed up to the film. So has fellow Oscar winner Nicole Kidman and Mia Wasikowska has also been added to the cast.
Not too much has been revealed about the project at this stage and it won’t necessarily be a typical vampire story. The title “Stoker” does relate to Bram Stokers classic vampire story “Dracula” but in this movie it is the surname of two of the main characters, mother and daughter, played by Kidman and Wasikowska.
The script has been written by “Prison Break” star Wentworth Miller. Miller has been quoted after speaking with Yahoo! about the script;
“It’s got a lot of elements of the Dracula mythology in its story… It’s not a vampire story. It’s not about vampires at least with the teeth and the desire to suck your blood but it is a thriller and it is about an individual who preys on the innocent.”
Let’s hope the resulting film is as intriguing as it sounds so far.
