MUMBAI: India has refused to issue visas to Pakistan’s volleyball team as the Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) proposed a series of matches to its Indian counterpart in order to generate funds for flood-affected players and their families.
Pakistan’s volleyball team was to play third Central Zone Volleyball Championship from September 16 to 20 in Calcutta.
According to the Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF), the cause of visa denial is being interrogated.
“Preparations for the Asian Games will be affected if visas are not issued,” PVF added. SAMAA
