TrendPK.com: Emma Watson may be in the middle of her career, but she is already looking forward to a future with children.

Watson spoke with ‘Company’ magazine about the life she wants eventually when the time is right, states E! News. “I have very strong family values and I definitely hope that will be in my future. I can’t wait to be a mum and have my own family one day,” Watson commented.

And maybe Watson is on the path toward that as she was recently linked to actor Johnny Simmons as the two were allegedly spotted in Santa Monica getting cozy while parting ways.

Preparation for IPL season 4 is going on and franchises are waiting for auction dates. Suspended Franchises Ragasthan Royals has retained Shane Warn and Shane Watson. Both Australian players are key for the franchise. e80dcb39d985.jpg.jpg Rajasthan Royals Retain Warne and WatsonAccording to new rule every team can retain 4 players and it is necessary that there should not be more then 3 Indian players.

RR spokesman said that it is very good for then that they have retained their top players. He added that Watson’s batting and Warne’s leadership skills will help their cause. $1.8 million per year is retainer-ship for 1st player and $1.3 million per year for the 2nd player.

The auction date for the IPL 4 was 6th December but it was extended to 8th December by BCCI as they want the auction to be conducted after the decision of King XI Punjab case.

Shane Warne led RR team well in 2008 season and took them to finals. He took 19 wickets in the season and was the 2nd highest wicket taker. Watson scored 472 runs and also took 17 wickets in the season. Both Australian players were brilliant and it led RR to pick them for season 4. If RR gets clearance to play IPL the Warne and Watson will be in RR team.

England beat Australia in first one-day international

June 23, 2010 by

SOUTHAMPTON: Eoin Morgan”s unbeaten 103 saw England to a come from behind four-wicket win over Australia in the first one-day international at the Rose Bowl here on Tuesday.

England, chasing 268 for victory, were in dire straits at 97 for four.

But former Ireland batsman Morgan”s second one-day hundred for his adopted country turned the tide and gave England a 1-0 lead in this five match series.

He ended the match and went to his hundred in the process by crashing paceman Ryan Harris down the ground for four, having faced 85 balls with 16 boundaries as England won with exactly four overs to spare.

“I”ve been in good nick for a while now and I want to play more cricket to take advantage of it,” said Morgan.

“I think I try to keep things quite simple and it”s easy to do when you”re in good nick – it came off today, so happy days.”

Delighted England captain Andrew Strauss hailed Middlesex colleague Morgan”s display by saying: “What a fantastic innings from Eoin Morgan – that was one of the best I”ve seen.”

Australia captain Ricky Ponting added: “We were probably a bit below with our batting. Morgan played very, very well. We were a long way below our best but still remained competitive, that”s a positive.”

Turning to Morgan, he added: “He played, very, very well. But the way our quicks and medium-pacers bowled to him, we gave him too many boundary options.”

World champions Australia arrived in England without injured quicks Brett Lee, Peter Siddle, Mitchell Johnson and Ben Hilfenhaus.

But having made 267 for seven, featuring vice-captain Michael Clarke”s unbeaten 87, it seemed they would make light of their inexperienced attack.

However, a fifth-wicket stand of 95 in 92 balls between left-hander Morgan and Luke Wright swung the match back England”s way before the latter was lbw for 36 to paceman Ryan Harris.

England, looking to complete a treble over Australia after winning last year”s Ashes and last month”s World Twenty20 final against their oldest rivals, were now 192 for five. But the required rate was under a run-a-ball.

Tim Bresnan (27) then helped fellow World Twenty20 winner Morgan take England to the brink of victory.

Australia had won eight of their last nine one-dayers against England but they had no answer to Morgan”s sparkling display under the floodlights.

England suffered an early setback when Strauss, who”d struck two fours, was caught behind off a Harris delivery for 10.

Craig Kieswetter, man-of-the-match in the World Twenty20 final with a rapid 63, again scored briskly.

And debutant teenage quick Josh Hazlewood, Australia”s youngest one-day international, saw his first ball, a full toss, driven down the ground for four by Kevin Pietersen, who subsequently drove Watson for a boundary.

But Watson had his revenge when Pietersen, on 29, miscued to Ponting at backward point.
Kieswetter then hooked Hazlewood for the match”s first six.

However, Hazlewood clean bowled Kieswetter for 38. England, who had been 75 for one, were now 81 for three.

And that became 97 for four when Twenty20 winning captain Paul Collingwood, holed out off Watson to James Hopes at mid-off.

But Morgan, reverse-sweeping off-spinner Nathan Hauritz for four and Wright, driving Watson for a straight six, stopped the rot.

Earlier, Clarke faced 97 balls in an innings where the next best score was Hopes”s 34.
The series continues with a day/nighter at Cardiff on Thursday.

d5843af05czyeiyl jessica watson live3″ />Teenage solo sailor Jessica Watson has crossed the finish line of her epic round the world voyage after 210 days at sea.

The 16-year-old Queenslander sailed through the Sydney Heads at 1.55pm (AEST) on Saturday to become the youngest person to circumnavigate the globe solo, nonstop and unassisted.

Her mum, Julie, cried as her daughter crossed through the Sydney Heads finish line.
After she had crossed the finish line, Australian Customs boarded the yacht followed by a TEN camera crew and previous round-the-world sailors Jesse Martin and Mike Perham, who both interviewed Watson live on her route to the Sydney Opera House.

Seven even included the TEN / ONE interviews live in its coverage and cut to ONE footage as she stepped onto the dock. Nine also used ONE feed to complement its coverage.

Watson was wearing a ONE t-shirt as she stepped off Ella’s Pink Lady, indicative of the sponsorship from the network. She walked a pink carpet to the stage with family who helped her with regaining her land legs after 7 months at sea.
Jessica’s grandfather Tom Watson says he was never concerned about her safety at sea, but he is concerned about her coping with the media frenzy.

‘I’ve always felt that she’d be OK and she has been OK- she certainly knew what she was about,’ he said.

‘We’re happy for her to be home in one way, but we’re a bit worried about how she’s going to be when she’s been on dry land for a couple of days. It’s going to be an awful big change for her.
Watson was humble in her achievement telling the nation people didn’t realise what 16year old girls could achieve. She thanked her family, sponsors and supporters and even ‘disagreed’ with the Prime Minister that she was a new Australian hero.
She left Sydney on 18 October, defying critics who said she was being irresponsible for taking on such a difficult voyage at such a young age.

Also meeting her in Sydney is Briton Mike Perham, who last year at the age of 17 completed his own solo around the world voyage in nine months.

GROS ISLET: All-rounder Shane Watson top-scored with 81 as Australia punished lax Pakistan fielding by making 191 all out in their opening Group A World Twenty20 match here on Sunday.

Watson, dropped on 11 by Misbah-ul-Haq at midwicket and missed by Misbah, running back at mid-on, both times off Mohammad Hafeez, struck four sixes and seven fours in his blistering 49-ball innings.

Together with David Hussey, he put on 98 in under nine overs for the third wicket.

Hussey dropped on 18 at long-off by Salman Butt, a relatively easy chance, went on to make 53 off 29 balls with five sixes and two fours.

Hussey was especially severe on seamer Mohammad Sami, striking him for 28 runs in the 16th over with the batsman striking four sixes, including three in a row.

Eventually Hussey holed out off Saeed Ajmal and, three balls later, Clarke was lbw to the off-spinner to leave Australia 164 for four in the 17th over.

There was though an extraordinary end to the Australia innings with five wickets going down for no runs in six balls during the last over from fast bowler Mohammad Aamer.

Brad Haddin was caught off the over”s first ball, Mitchell Johnson clean bowled off the second with both Michael Hussey and Steven Smith run out by direct hits from wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal as they tried to run byes.

Shaun Tait survived the fifth ball but was bowled off the last for nought.

Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 21 runs in their first match of the tournament here on Saturday.

Watson stars as Australia defeat Pakistan

GROS ISLET: Shane Watson top-scored with 81 as Australia punished lax Pakistan fielding to win their opening World Twenty20 match by a convincing 34 run margin here on Sunday.

Man-of-the-match Watson”s innings was the cornerstone of Australia”s 191 all out, made after captain Michael Clarke won the toss.

But the all-rounder was dropped twice and Watson made defending champions Pakistan pay by striking four sixes and seven fours in his blistering 49-ball innings

Pakistan lost Kamran Akmal for nought to the first legitimate ball of their reply when he sliced Dirk Nannes to Steven Smith at short third man.

Salman Butt (15) miscued an attempted hook off fast bowler Shaun Tait and was caught by David Hussey before left-arm quick Mitchell Johnson”s second ball proved too much for Mohammad Hafeez, who pulled straight to deep square leg.

Australia, holding their catches, had reduced Pakistan to 34 for three inside five overs and they never looked like recovering from such a start.

Tait then had the satisfaction of bowling Pakistan captain and hard-hitting batsman Shahid Afridi for 33 before finishing the match by bowling Saeed Ajmal off the last ball.

Misbah-ul-Haq top-scored for Pakistan with 41 but that was never going to be enough by itself.

Afridi had only inherited the Pakistan captaincy after the fall-out from the team”s disastrous recent tour of Australia where they failed to win in three Tests, five one-day internationals and a Twenty20.

Earlier, David Hussey holed out off Ajmal and, three balls later, the off-spinner had Watson lbw.

There was an extraordinary end to the Australia innings with a five-wicket maiden during the last over from Mohammad Aamer.

Brad Haddin was caught off the over”s first ball, Mitchell Johnson clean bowled off the second with both Michael Hussey and Steven Smith run out by direct hits from wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal as they tried to run byes.

Tait survived the fifth ball but was bowled off the last for nought.

Left-arm quick Aamer finished with three wickets for 23 runs, with Ajmal taking three for 34.

Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 21 runs in the first Group A match here on Saturday and both Pakistan and Australia will qualify for the second round of if the Aussies beat Bangladesh in Barbados on Wednesday.
