FAISALABAD: The weekly gas break has halted thousands of industries of Punjab on Thursday and deprived more than a million laborers of their three days’ daily wages in many industrial zones.

According to Sui Northern Gas Company sources, under National Energy Saving scheme Faislabad, Multan, Islamabad and Bahawalpur industrial zones’ gas supply has been suspended from 6.00am today and it will be resumed at same time on December 5.

The annoyed and irritated industrialists of Faisalabad have rejected this weekly gas break; they have also announced to take out protesting rallies against the long breaks of gas, from December 4. Trend Pk

LAHORE: Under the National Energy Saving drive, the gas supply of many industrial zones of Punjab has been halted on Monday morning which is causing a huge lost to the millions of daily wages’ workers of the concerned industries.

According to Sui Northern Gas Company (SNGC) source, the gas supply of Lahore, Sheikhupura and Sahiwal regions’ industries will remain closed on November 29-30, and it would resume on December 1 at 6.00am.

The industrialists of the affected zones have rejected this ongoing two-day weekly gas break while saying that this weekly gas closure not only halts the industries, it also turns millions of daily wages’ workers jobless.

Under the weekly gas break schedule of SNGC, more than 2,000 CNG stations of Lahore, Multan, Gujranwala, and Faisalabad regions would remain closed on Tuesday. Trend Pk

ISLAMABAD: Gas supply in many of Punjab’s industrial regions has been halted for two days on Friday.

According to Sui Northern Gas Company (SNGC) sources, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Multan and Bahawalpur industrial regions’ gas supply was stopped at 6:00am today and will resume at the same time on November 28.

Under the weekly break, gas supply to Lahore, Sheikhupura and Sahiwal’s industries’ will be closed on November 29 (Monday) at 6:00am, and will resume on December 1 (Wednesday) at the same time. Trend Pk

FAISALABAD: Due to the weekly gas break, Faisalabad’s textile industry has been closed for two days effective Monday.

Local industrialists have protested many times against this weekly gas load shedding, but the government has rejected it.

From today, the gas supply of Faisalabad’s textile industries will remain halted for two days and all textile mills will remain closed.

Altogether due to two days of the gas break and three days of Eid-ul-Adha holidays, all textile mills will remain closed for five days; more than half a million laborers working on daily wages will be deprived of their wages. Trend Pk

FAISALABAD: Due to the weekly gas break the textile industry of Faisalabad has been closed for two days on Monday.

The local industrialists have protested many times against the weekly gas load shedding but the government has rejected it.

From today, the gas supply of Faisalabad’s textile industries will remain halted for two days and all textile mills will remain closed.

Weekly CNG closure resumes in Punjab

LAHORE: A two-day weekly closure of CNG stations in Punjab will resume on Tuesday after a gap of two weeks.

A total of 1,800 CNG stations will remain closed across the province, ALL Pakistan CNG Association said.

The Sui Northern Gas Company (SNGC) had suspended the weekly CNG closure due to the recent petrol shortage in the province. However, it has decided to restore the previous schedule from this week due to normal petrol availability in Punjab.

From Attock to Sadiqabad, all 1,800 CNG stations will not open on Tuesday. SAMAA
