Success in anti-terror war vital: Nawaz

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) chief Mian Nawaz Sharif said it was imperative to achieve success in war against terrorism, Geo News reported Saturday.

Addressing his party’s public meeting, he said it highly important to uproot the terrorists from the country to uphold the peace here.

Nawaz urges ulema and religious scholars to come forward to dispel the hatred and boost harmony among the people.

3 Terror Suspects Arrested in Wah Cantt

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Three suspected terrorists were arrested while trying to enter the area of Wah Cantt, while agencies have arrested 65 suspects in a search operation in Rawalpindi.

Three men arrested were taken to an undisclosed location for questioning.

LAHORE: Famous film actress Meera revealed that Ateequr Rehman, a person claiming to be her husband, came to her to become an actor, a local TV channel reported. Meera said she had established a production house through which she was launching new artists. Ateequr Rehman came to her to become an actor and the photographs with Ateequr Rehman were taken at this occasion, which Ateequr Rehman had used for wrong purpose, she said.
