We’ve all heard of Lindsay Lohan’s failed appeal to be with her family last Thanksgiving. This coming Christmas, the Lohan family is making sure that they will spend the holidays together whether Lindsay is permitted to go out or not. How? By visiting spending Christmas in the state where her rehab is.

fter spending Thanksgiving in New York, Dina Lohan said that her family will be celebrating Christmas in California. She also said that they will welcome the New Year in the same state where Lindsay is staying.
As for Lindsay, she hasn’t been granted by the judge to leave the state of California in exchange of letting her stay at the Betty Ford Center-supervised facility rather than being sent to jail last October. Sources say that the starlet is behaving quite well in the facility. She was even given a free pass a few weeks before Thanksgiving to run about and complete some photo shoots.
Moreover, even though she wasn’t given a chance to spend Thanksgiving with her family in New York, she was permitted to visit her place in West Hollywood and spend Turkey Day with a group of friends instead.
Whether or not she will be given the same freedom this Christmas is still the question.

LAHORE: Describing the leakage of Khawaja Sharif’s murder plot report as a plot against democracy, Governor Salmaan Taseer Saturday questioned the silence of Punjab’s Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on the issue.
Addressing a news conference in Lahore on Saturday, Taseer alleged that the Chief Minister’s Secretary is involved in disclosing the secret report of the alleged murder plot.
“An inquiry should be made to ascertain whether or not the report was exposed with the consent of Shahbaz Sharif,” he said.
Terming the report ‘unauthentic’, he said that it was a conspiracy against him.
The governor said that Col (retd.) Ahsan and other officials, who were pressurized by the Punjab administration, denied any knowledge of the report.

The golden age of comedy — this new golden age, which will only be apparent years from now, when it’s over — continues with the release of “Get Him to the Greek,” which is so comically fertile and yet so grounded in the reality of its characters that it’s really a kind of Marvel.
There is a quick and simple litmus test to tell whether or not you’ll enjoy Get Him to the Greek. If you found Aldous Snow, Russell Brand’s caricature of a rock star, to be one of the funnier elements of Forgetting Sarah Marshall, then you will no doubt have a riot with the increased raunchiness his character once again brings to the screen for director Nicholas Stoller. If, for whatever reason, you find Brand’s larger-than-life presence to be as insufferable as the real rock stars he’s lampooning, chances are good his spin-off film will do little to 
convince you there’s more to him than just an Judd Apatow — the current king of movie comedy — took a risk last summer with the bloated and terribly self-involved “Funny People.” The Adam Sandler film took a nose dive at the box office — a fate it deserved.
But this summer, the creator of such crowd-pleasers as “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” and “Knocked Up” rebounds mightily with “Get Him to the Greek,” one of the funniest, raunchiest and edgiest comedies in years. The outrageous “Greek” works better than “Funny People” at least in part because Apatow, who tends to make films that meander too much, hands over writing and directing duties to a protege — “Forgetting Sarah Marshall’s” Nicholas Stoller. With an embarrassed “Yup,” Sandra Bullock’s louse of a spouse admits he cheated on America’s Sweetheart in an upcoming TV interview.
“I took a pretty amazing life and marriage and threw it away,” Jesse James tells ABC News “Nightline” in the interview, which airs Tuesday.
In his first public statement since his betrayal of Bullock with a tatooed tart was revealed, James says he knows he’s universally viewed as a cad.
“I think it’s most hated man in the world right now,” he says with an embarrassed grin when asked if he’s the most hated man in America.
Bullock’s soon-to-be ex-husband tears up several times in his interview with Vicki Mabrey, who appears to be having a hard time understanding how James could be so dumb.
We can’t get away from him though. And by giving James attention, it only enables him to act this way, because people will forgive him and treat him like a victim because he is pitiful and nearly crying about his choices.
The reality is that the two never should have gotten married to begin with. Of course this was going to happen. And now James is taking this opportunity to soften the things people are saying about him by confessing it all in an interview.
What people should be doing is forgetting about James, and letting him live his pathetic life as a sex addict, and move on to things and people that are worth talking about – like Lindsay Lohan and the train wreck that she is.

julie Bowen sat down with George Lopez Monday night to talk about both her hit ABC sitcom, Modern Family (the blonde beauty plays Claire Dunphy), and another, less relevant, topic: Breastfeeding. You can view the interview here.
In what has inevitably been reduced to a controversy over sexuality by the media, Bowen showed this picture during the interview on Lopez’s late night talk show of her breastfeeding 
her twins at the same time.
Bowen, who has one-year-old twins Gus and John, likened breastfeeding to being like a “liposuction machine”, attributing her svelte post-baby body to nursing.
I, personally, don’t see what the big deal is. Chill out, America, they’re just boobs. And believe it or not, sexual as they can be, they’re actually intended for feeding babies! Shocking, isn’t it?
I am always impressed when celebrities advocate for breastfeeding and share their own experiences. And while yes, she could’ve touted the other benefits as well, do I think that those women on the fence about whether or not to breastfeed might be swayed by hearing about her weight loss? Yep. And as long as more women are breastfeeding, does it really matter why?
I say good for you, Julie Bowen! Breastfeeding twins presents challenges that I cannot even imagine, and if you want to bring the issue to the forefront of bloggers and celebrity gossip hounds everywhere, more power to you.

Oil dips below 83 dollars in Asian trade
SINGAPORE: Oil dipped below 83 dollars in Asian trade Tuesday as investors took profits after a recent rally, analysts said.
Traders were also waiting for the results of a meeting Tuesday and Wednesday of the US Federal Reserve and the release of a weekly US report indicating energy demand in the world”s biggest economy.
New York”s main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in June, was down 52 cents to 83.68 dollars a barrel in afternoon trade.
Brent North Sea crude for June was down 25 cents to 86.58 dollars.
“It could be due to profit-taking because (New York) crude oil prices rallied quite a bit last Friday touching about 85.50,” said Serene Lim, a Singapore-based oil analyst with the ANZ bank.
“All eyes will be on the Fed statement… Depending on what comes out from the statement, that would impact interest rates and ultimately the US dollar and crude oil prices,” she said.
Because oil is traded in dollars, the strength or weakness of the US currency will affect oil prices and demand.
The US Federal Reserve board will discuss whether or not to raise its main interest rate from the zero-to-0.25 percent range where they have been since December 2008.
The historically low rates are seen as crucial to support the economic recovery — keeping borrowing costs low and fuelling spending.
Investors will be closely watching to see if the Fed repeats its long-standing promise to keep exceptionally low rates “for an extended period”.
Any shift in the language could be seen as heralding tighter monetary policy that could tame investors” appetite for risk.
The US economy, a key engine for global growth, is recovering from its worst downturn since the 1930s.
Lim said oil market players will also monitor the weekly US Department of Energy report due for release Wednesday. The report is an indicator of demand in the world”s biggest energy consuming nation.

PS3 Update 3.30 – Update Your PS3 Now Here!Good News for PS3 Gamers mania, Sony has officially detailed PS3 firmware 3.30 on the official PlayStation blog, set to hit the console “shortly” and officially make it the only console to take advantage of new stereoscopic 3D technology. The biggest update, though, is the 3D support. All those 3D TVs that people keep talking about will finally get some compelling content.3D updates are already underway for Wipeout HD, MotorStorm Pacific Rift, PAIN, and Super Stardust HD. Super Stardust HD was also one of the flagship games to get trophy support and seems to be Sony’s favorite title for new tech demos.
According to the blog posting, the firmware update should come around the same time as Sony launches its first 3D TVs under its “Bravia” line. That should be within the next couple weeks. No word yet on whether or not compatible game updates will come day-and-date with the firmware expansion.In version 3.30 firmware, the update will prepare the PS3 for the upcoming 3D HDTV and add a Trophy Enhancement that everyone has been waiting for.
