Holland and Slovakia match will begin at 7: 00 PST whereas Brazil, Chile match will kick off at 11:30 PST at Ellis Park Stadium.

JOHANNESBURG: Three matches will be played in Fifa World Cup 2010 today.
Portugal will take on Slovakia while defending champions Italy will face New Zealand from group F matches.
Another match between Brazil and Ivory Cost teams will be played from group G.

McChrystal sees slower pace for Kandahar operation

BRUSSELS: General Stanley McChrystal, the top U.S. and NATO commander in Afghanistan, said on Thursday that U.S.-led military operations in Kandahar would move at a slower pace than initially planned.
McChrystal said the operation in Kandahar would happen “more slowly” and “more deliberately” in order to ensure local Afghan support, reflecting lessons learned in operations earlier this year in the neighbouring province of Helmand.
“I think it (Kandahar) will take a number of months to play out,” he told reporters on the sidelines of a NATO conference.
Speaker Sindh Assembly to take oath again
KARACHI: Nisar Khuhro will take oath as the Speaker of Sindh Assembly on Monday under the 18th Amendment.
According to the 18th Amendment, the speaker will also take oath as acting governor, after which he will not have to take oath again even in the absence of governor.
In the absence of governor, only notification about acting governor will be issued.
