Fort Hood Memorial Service, President Barack Obama with first lady will travel to Killeen, Texas, to meet with those most affected by the Fort Hood shootings.
Obama will address the Fort Hood community during Fort Hood Memorial Service.
The president and first lady will then meet with wounded soldiers at Darnall Army Medical Center before flying back to Washington.

Canyon Of Heroes Parade Route: New York City will throw a parade Friday morning for the New York Yankees to celebrate their 27th World Series title. The victory parade will travel through the financial district’s Canyon of Heroes. The ticker-tape parade will begin on Broadway at Battery Place at 11 a.m.

The ticker-tape parade will begin on Broadway at Battery Place at 11 a.m. and continue uptown along the Canyon of Heroes to Chambers Street. Then, a ceremony will be held at City Hall Plaza, where Mayor Michael Bloomberg will present the Bronx Bombers with the Keys to the City.
